I am shocked. When I read the news of their divorce in which the husband said that the mother has a very liberal way of raising kids and she is stubborn and too easy on the children and would let them do what they want, it seems like his mother is putting words in his mouth and actually the grandmother is the one who is ruining the kids by being too easy on them and the mother is trying to discipline the children

maybe min hwan & yulhee should be able to raise jaeyul like park jooho & anna raise naeun & gunhoo first before plan the 4th child. park jooho and anna are parents who educate their children very well. park naeun & park gunhoo are a great older brother&sister to jinwoo. they don't get angry if jinwoo makes a mess, they clean up whatever jinwoo messed up without complaint, they obey what parents say, even gunhoo & jinwoo are more obedient to his sister, naeun than to his father. they never angry then hurting people. they always speak softly, and their eldest son, naeun, can really lead their younger siblings and teach their younger siblings very well. like no need to be angry if there is a mess and just need to clean up, can't be picky about food, can't hit people no matter how angry you are. and what amazed me was when jinwoo hit his brother, gunhoo, but gunhoo didn't get angry or hit back at all. he was silent until naeun and his father advised jinwoo. then he forgave and hugged jinwoo. it was so amazing. even my older brother can hit me 5 times harder if i hit him just a little. they are really gentle children and never joke around hurting other people. even when his father joked with uncle kwanghee by getting him splashed with water from the pickup car, gunhoo was worried and didn't laugh at all. i think park jooho and anna are the successful parent that i’ve ever seen in educating their children. even if they have a fourth child i don't think there's anything to worry about

He seems sweet and they are trying their best. I'm sure a child specialist will tell them to use emotion rather than being stern in some situations. Like, when he throws things, please be gentle with the people around you, or they could get hurt like mom just now, or it could make them sad or scared, like the sister seeing mom get hurt. And instead of suddenly taking the phone just say, here's your 5min of phone time, then we can have fun together as a family. You can acknowledge what he wants to do, give him time and then he won't feel like he's punished. And family time, rather than "mom wants to do this" which make it seem like what mom wants to do is more important than his feelings.

honestly, coming from the perspective of an oldest child, sometimes it's hard ykyk, always being scolded for stuff and somehow your younger siblings aren't when it comes to them, and having to adjust to sharing everything and giving everything up just for kids that are younger than you... it's hard sometimes to understand why your parents do things in a certain why and why they treat you in a certain way... it's just something that someone who hasn't been through the same experience cannot relate to, and kind of hard to put into words as it may seem as though im ungrateful or something...

Whats up with that title?! "The mother and son seem to be growing apart"?! Its literally a normal mother-son interaction. Its very evident that most of the people in this comment section dont have kids, nor do they remember how their parents were with them. Jaehyul was throwing the toy at Yulhee. The mother has every right to discipline her child. And she was not even shouting. Just very calmly explaining to the kid. Mothers can't and won't always be lovey dovey with the children 24/7. Disciplining a child is a part of raising them. If this is what's called growing apart, then me and my mother should have been galaxies apart. But I am very very close with my mother. People criticizing her should analyse their life, try having children and then speak

People who don't have kids yet shouldn't put in their 2 cents. Young or not you learn to be a parent in the process. Same goes to your parents. They werent perfect as well but still raised you. When you watch or raise someones kid its different. When you have your own kids you be will understand the struggle. I have 3 under 3 and am I the best nor have most skills. I am learning as I go. Don't judge a book by its cover if you haven't been in their shoes.

I’m guessing no one in this comment section has children or doesn’t know how to discipline? Alrighty then.😉 (edit) and i just want to say it is NOT easy to raise kids. when you babysit kids you still get tired but you don't have to teach them, discipline them as much as us parents. yes children are easy to mold but that doesn't mean they don't have their own thoughts, they simply don't know how to express it correctly so you have to help them. when i say helping i mean those feelings they have you just have to guide instead of change. of course her situation is more difficult, her mom is always there. I don't recommend raising your kids with your're parents because the child will think " oh my grandparents are also adults so when i don't want to listen to mommy or daddy i juts go to them" and see you'll never get anywhere. I just hope she figures it out,FIGHTING!!

I think Jaeyul is still not happy with soemthing like attention. Mother is pretty young always have to take care of the twins. I suggest Father should be more open to his son otherwise their son definitely go well with the grandparents. He might not feel closeness. I disagreed with like he is being the oldest as well as thinking he should be a good example to his younger siblings. Because he is still a child. Whom needs some attention

Yea i guess there is a family conflict. I mean for the kid. He is just between them. Thats why it is not good to raise children all family together. There everyone trying to raise the children with their own rules and then children dont know how to get along with them all. There is no only one mom and one dad for them so they choose whoever they want to get smth done whatever they want...

I think that the real issue is having a discussion around parenting and what rules will be inforced. There isnt anything better about having a traditonal nuclear family because the same thing can happen. Extended family structure allows for more support for new parents.

i have nothing against the parents, it's more that i feel this kind of reality TV is really not a good idea... the children can't consent, first of all, and i think it's kind of deranged to add 'constantly on camera and judged by the viewers' on top of the stress of being a young parent with 3(!!!) kids. that can't be healthy for anyone involved. i get that this is a popular kind of TV in korea but i wish they would reconsider.
