Ethiopians are strong believers of Lord Jesus Christ. It is heard that they even don't swallow saliva during the time of holy Mass.

This documentary on great old Niranam Church deserves much commendation from Christian communities. We used to listen to the miracles performed by St. Thomas when we were children. Holy Mother appeared in the Church premises 100 odd years ago. It was in connection with the theft of gold cross. Three thiefs gave the same version about the appearance of Mother when they were questioned seperately. It was in the FIR of Travancore Police and published in Malayala Manorama with much importance.

Niranam Church has a rich history when Christianity is taken into account. Christianity is too much connected to Hinduism as we are all from that blood. Our Church have the outlook of secularism which Christianity teaches us.

Some of my blood relatives still attend this church. My grandfather's family was very active in both the Niranam Orthodox Church and the Marthoma Church. If we had full baptism and resolved a few doctrinal issues, I don't think I would have ever left the mother church. Still, with love and respect, we have a greater history than European Christianity. with love Fredy Johnson

It is a great project which has fulfilled its purpose. The history of the Church is revealed in its full spirit in the limited time possible. The flashed write up contains many mistakes . Do rectify it !

Beautiful.. Wishing the old church was retained like Pazhanji pally and never demolished 😐. It was the ignorance of Niranam parish people. Have heard about it. Some of the stone structures were even given for the building of a church school !! Can it be brought back atleast .?
@georgekurien50183 жыл бұрын
It cannot be considered as ignorence of people of Niranam. Wherever any constructions made it is quite natural to use the remains of old one to use practically. It had been used as the pillars of School not to ruin but still exists.
@believethetruth1303 жыл бұрын
@@georgekurien5018 My question is why the school? Why cannot the church guard it in Puravasthu Mandiram?? The school will be demolished tomorrow and where it will be? The catholic church will come to know about it and will take it away.

Certain historical facts knowingly ignored by the Church management. That's against the truth and It was in favor of Orthodox Church. Otherwise, It's an informative one. Congratulations to the entire team behind this.
@Pattamukkil4 жыл бұрын
Church has a legacy with Pattamukkil family. It has been mentioned in K.C Mammen Mappiali (Manorama) Autobiography and several other historical texts. Ex: Kerala Society papers. Pattamukkil family is the remaining one which has historical bonds with the church. Thayyil, Madathilan, Manki all moved from there. Entire Pattamukkil family members followed the leadership of Pattamukkil Yakoob kathanar and turned into marthomites during the end of 1889s. Due to this, the Malankara Orthodox Church knowingly avoiding the historical connections with family. 1899 July 4th as per mutual agreement church has been handed over to Pulikkottil Joseph Mar Dionysius Metropolitan. Records are at Pazhya Seminary. Puthoopallil Sir knows all this. How long the church will hide this truth? Not even mentioning? Church history would be incomplete without all these realities.
@georgekurien50183 жыл бұрын
@@PattamukkilWhat you said has nothing to do with reality. The Church Management have no such vested interests . We all stand by the true history and true belief. We not in anyway tried to lessen the importance of any family . Though some families are mentioned in the Church history it doesn't mean that there are no other families to mention. There were so many great individuals and clergymen to be mentioned in the history. No Church history has been written by the Church till now.

History is diverted to fool the public who are ignorant of truth. Faith must come from inside not from fabricated mythology.
