She must have been so stressed from starving and being desperate for her puppies sake. She knows she needs to eat at every opportunity and before she never knew where food would come from each day. I have a new mother cat, when it's feeding time she waits till her kittens are finished then she feeds. I was surprised to see this mother attacking her babies because of food. I'm tearing up just to see the mama becoming more warm up to you Takis. And her babies are so healthy and happy. For now they are ok. The one thing I love about Takis shelter is that dogs are not in cages. They have plenty of room to roam around and exercising.

That's the puppy the mommy nipped at and it doesn't want to come out. The people that did this to the dogs is a evil monster. Thank God Takis got to them on time. The other dogs want dinner too they are yelling for Takis. The mommy got scared after Takis raised his voice. Takis takes such good care of all the animals. His hands are full. It will be so good when Takis can have help with the work. Bless you Takis for all that you do. You are a very good man. The mommy will learn quickly that Takis is there to help and love them. ✌💗🙏🐾🌼

i remember another case where the mother dog hurt her own puppy because he got in the way of her food. unfortunately food aggression is a real thing with dogs, even between mother and babies. and even when she puts on weight there's no guarantee it will go away. poor puppy 😟

@@dennysmith7862, yes you are right, she did not hurt the pup. Pups of that age will.often scream without being hurt . Momma does need feeding up first. The pups have tinned food and momma's milk.

She didn't injure her puppy, she was teaching him manners and chastising him. Only his feelings were hurt. If you raised ainimals, you would know this, you see it often. The mother has to make sure she eats enough to have plenty of milk for her offspring.

Daddy will have to get (fixed)neutered first. Mommy can't be neutered until she is done nursing. Mommy and puppies will be all at the same time. Takis doesn't need anymore puppies. He's very good about caring for his animals. 🤗🙏🐾💕✊🌼

I sure hope adoptions will start coming soon,because in the last three weeks he bought to his shelter 22 puppies plus the moms (and one dad as well!)..if at least half of these gorgeous babies won't find loving homes i am afraid Takis won't be able to help any other stray out there!❤❤❤
