The Move is done

In this video I am in the process of moving my craft room out of the basement to the upstairs. My husband has come up with some handy ways to move my yarn without emptying my shelves.
It was a long project….mostly done. I just need to clean, organize, and donate!!

Looks Great. Maybe add some overhead shelves on the far wall to sit you amigurumis and makes. It’s a great space.

For your future yarn store. I say use the high ceiling to your advantage and put shelving brackets or something similar to that and store yarn like that so you have more room since the cubbies are a bit wide. Anyway it an idea...

ah... seems to be the thing to do now... update craft rooms, lol. I just did a complete makeover in mine. I have a short video of the before, during, and after. It feels so nice. I was kind of hoping that after seeing my make over, my husband would feel inspired to clean up his craft room/office. He didn't. We could never share a space. Your new room is coming along very nicely. I like the wall color. You could do like I did and put some shelves along the top of the wall(s) for your fun stuff (like your finished amigurumis). Oh too bad you live several states away. I love organizing things and have ideas...LOTS of ideas starting with the bookcases and cubbies on the back wall so you're looking at the yarn when you walk in the room. Sooo many ideas, lol! Can't wait to see what you're final set up is!

You're doing great!! I have organizing my yarn on a list and it keeps getting moved to the next week and the next week. I only have so much room in the v-berth, pointy end of the sailboat with a bed in that space. But stuff gets stored in there and I need to organize. Maybe I'll get some tips from you too. But, Just a bit Bigger. And it's Just for me. 🙄😏👍🙂. That's what I need. I Crochet; Knit by Hand; Knit by Flatbed Knitting Machine; Do Embroidery; Needlepoint; & Sew by Hand (a bit); And Sew by Machine (a bit, too). This is the 1st time at your site. Which State to you come from? Just wondering. 🙄🤔. I look like this.🧓 but a little darker hair. All my true hair color. I don't believe in coloring my hair. Ha, Ha.
