Schön, dass es Dir gefällt. Ich mag dieses Musikstück auch sehr. Ursprünglich war das Musikstück einem Bild nachempfunden, welches "a softening" hieß. Aber nach anfänglicher Zustimmung hatte mir die Künstlerin dann nicht mehr erlaubt, diese Musik zusammen mit ihrem Bild zu veröffentlichen. Schade, ich denke, dass man diese Weichheit in diesem Stück durchaus nachempfinden kann. Allerdings kann man auch die Flüchtigkeit und die Vergänglichkeit dieser schönen Sinneseindrücke spüren, sowie das verzweifelte Festhalten an diesen kostbaren Momenten. Liebe Grüße, Markus

Health problems kept me away from music, but now things are better and I can start listening to your sound creations again. This is sonic narration of a profound concept... Amazing!!!!

Dear Marcus, please excuse my belated response. I've been away for some days to visit my parents. During this week I had no access to the internet, and I enjoyed that time, beside all family problems, very much. It makes me sad to read that you had health problems again. I know that your illness comes in phases, so I've already suspected that you have had health problems again, as soon as you did not get in touch with me for a while. I am all the more pleased about your last comment because I assume that you are feeling much better again. Behind this Avidyā series is a strange but frustrating story about a painter and me. The painter first gave me permission to make music to five of her paintings, then, after all five pieces of music were finished, she withdrew my permission to publish her paintings together with my music, just like that, without any further explanation. But since I wanted to publish my music, I had to come up with something else and that's how I came up with the theme of Avidyā, which fits quite well, but is not the actual basis. Well, I have recovered from the "shock", although the echo still lingers. Yours, Markus

@@MarkusGrandpre Dear Markus, "The Doors" sang "People Are Strange"... and these days it's very current... We live in a society full of misunderstandings, dialogue has become superfluous and people no longer understand each other. I'm sorry about what happened to you, and I understand your disappointment. Giving shape to music, starting from an image, is my prerogative and I perfectly understand how this has had a negative impact. Luckily you were able to re-adapt your work, and still managed to give an important meaning to your music. Lately my illness has forced me to take forced breaks, but whenever I can I'm here to give you my support and my friendship. These days I'm working on a new project, but I have a lot of difficulty finding the right sound (What's going on in my head), probably the drugs that control the pain confuse my mind... But that's okay, that's life and I'm happy anyway. I hope this trip to your parents went well... Family affection is really important, and love towards one's parents is fundamental to our existence!!

Thank you Tomas. I really like this piece of music too. It reminds me of a haunted woman finding peace. She bends down to a rose and smells the deep, red blossom, finally finding a little contentment. This very moment has a special tenderness and beauty that I have tried to capture. Yours, Markus

It's like if the music was trying to tell me something, it's very weird and never had that sensation before. Maybe the lack of sleep, will have to give it another ear tomorrow. Love it though, quite dark for your place I have to say even if it suits me perfectly well.
