What I enjoy the most from his videos is he doesn’t go crazy with the editing. All of his videos give me that retro asmr vibe from when asmr first started. I love the background white noise too. It’s what sets him apart from other artists that use way too much editing that takes away from that realistic in person feeling. The people who make their videos movie like with all the extra editing just doesn’t relax me. But everyone is different. Some like that just like some prefer fast asmr over slow asmr.

I used to manage a video rental store over 20 years ago. I can tell you customers would have thrown a mega fit if you told them wait while I put videos away.

I always think about that kind of thing with retail roleplay ASMR, how FURIOUS everyone would be if they're standing in line and the clerk is just silently typing or telling them to wait while they put stuff away. Can you imagine going to a bookstore and standing there while the cashier takes 20 minutes to ring up 3 books because she keeps tapping on everything and riffling the pages and critiquing the book? I love asmr but it's hard for me to relax with some of the retail roleplays because I get too hung up on pretending to be a customer who'd start to get annoyed really quickly.

Talk about some of the fondest memories with this! 😌 Pizza, popcorn and movie rentals on a Friday or Saturday Night was the move 😊 I remember peeling the poker chips off the Velcro strip to take up to the counter to get the VHS tape from the clerk behind the counter and then later when DVD came along. The Good Old Days and Man were they great! I came up with the acronym G.O.D.S. (Good Old Days Syndrome) 😌 📺📼📀🍕🍿
