6:50 THANK YOU. Every time I watch a Christmas movie where Santa is actually real, I would always think, "If Santa is real in this universe, does that mean parents or extended family are taking credit for the gifts to the kids?" Like with that kind of freaky shit, if I was a parent where gifts mysteriously appeared that I or my possible spouse got for them, I'd be more inclined to believe Santa was real (because tbh, thinking about a stranger that isn't Santa, a benevolent being, breaking and entering into my house just to deliver gifts to my kid(s) is way more creepy to me)

Hot take here: This special probably has one of the highest stakes among Christmas movies. Because if Santa goes to jail, Christmas is irrevocably changed forever. Either Christmas is completely canceled or the elves take Santa's place as the main gift giver to the world's children. If we go the Christmas is canceled route, people will have to create a new holiday to replace it. ...Seriously, the original version of "Grandpa's gonna sue the pants off of Santa" ends with Santa being found GUILTY for grandma's death! Which leads to Christmas being canceled since Santa is needed to deliver presents.
@foxymetroid Жыл бұрын
There needs to be a Christmas movie where "Santa Claus" is basically just a job title instead of a specific person. It's more believable if all those presents were delivered by "one man" if that "man" was really a large group of elite present deliverymen each delivering presents to a mere portion of families instead of a lone person doing it all himself. It would also explain how he could have different names (Saint Nicholas, Kris Kringle, etc.). It could also explain mall santas as well as how "one man" could have lived for apparently centuries.

They even played one of their songs I had told them I really enjoyed on their last performance with us. I HATE this movie with a passion. One year in 2003 Cartoon Networked played Bill Plympton's "12 Tiny Christmas Tales". That 22 minute animation got me into animation. I wanted to see it the next year (thinking it was going to be an annul thing like everything else) and I waited to 6:00 to 7:00pm, which was the time it aired the previous year. What I was met with was THIS movie. They didn't show 12 Tiny Christmas Tales that year. So I waited next year, the same, THIS movie. Again the next year, THIS movie. I don't believe they ever played 12 Tiny Christmas Tales again, but every Christmas from when I was a kid, it was ALWAYS THIS movie. I did eventually find 12 Tiny Christmas Tales but it was frustrating when I was a kid and KZbin didn't exist yet or most movie sites especially for niche stuff like Bill Plympton's Animations.

I was born in 1999, and even back when I used to watch the special, I thought Cousin Mel and I.M.Slime were really good friends, instead of just a attorney-client relationship (especially with their musical number). Mel has more chemistry with her than the proto-Elon guy. Now whenever I look back at this movie, I think the possibility of Slime being gay for Mel is pretty likely. Considering Grandpa and Proto Elon have a thing for her, I wouldn't be surprised.
