I have the Impression there is chip damage. I run a lot of Semishotguns and 9mm SMGs and sometimes enemies just dissolve with Buck at range after hitting them a ton of times

Im fairly certain that each pellet rolls for its own chance to penetrate, so even though most pellets bounce, some do get through

Fun fact:You can clean weapons even if there in the red (idk if you can of its really low but I know you can clean them in the red) so don't repair that AK that your found badly damaged try to clean it!
