Thank you for all the insightful comments, obviously I'm not perfect and neither is my advice, so you guys have brought up some points I hadn't considered. I realize that MrBeast did terrible things, and it in NO WAY should be excused, I never said that, and I won't ever say that. When I made the video I had thought that the topic was just being milked by a lot of KZbinrs (which it was tbh), but that was just from my perspective. When I saw Dogpack's videos had a combined total of like 20 million views, I failed to consider that MrBeast had a combined total of 309 MILLION subscribers, which is slightly more than 20 million lmao. So that means many more of his fans are completely oblivious. But, that doesn't apply to you, does it? If it did, you wouldn't have watched this video. So I still stand by what I said; I wanted you to ask yourself how much of your life YOU PERSONALLY are dedicating to this drama, and for what reason. No bullsh*t "oH juSt caUse it dOesn't affeCt mE it dOeSn't mAtTer??" excuses, because that's not what I implied, and that's not what matters. Yes, this affects all of us, but you being chronically online following this does absolutely nothing to help anyone, and all it does is hurt you. And that doesn't apply to everyone, but I didn't make this video for everyone. I made it specifically for the people that were falling into a negative rabbit hole and not realizing it. I'm sorry if that wasn't clear in the video, and you got the message that the hate is undeserved/doesn't matter. I tried to make a video that could help some people get out of a very dark place, because I firsthand know that that is where a lot of this drama can lead. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment, I really appreciate it. The reason comments exist is to point out flaws and have genuinely valuable discussions. Sorry for the long comment lol, have a good day

The Only Point You Made Was That, "This doesn't directly affect you so why do you care?'... Like, I don't Want to talk about this, but you made no other point... and it's obviously an Extremely absurd belief. That's like saying you can't Be mad at any murderer ever, because they didn't directly kill You... It's an objectively bad take. Things don't Have to directly affect your every day life, for you to care about them. Honestly, If you Don't care about anything that doesn't affect your daily life, that's even Worse... How would you ever develop Hobbies, or friendships with that mentality? It's Not Healthy.. People can follow News Stories if they want to, nobody is being "Obsessive" or letting this drama affect their real life (Except you, since you went through all the effort of making this video)... Everything You Accused other people of in this, you're guilty of Yourself too. It just comes off as hypocritical and arrogant, trying to act better than everyone else, when you're worse than most of us..

@@AceFaz Thank you for your lovely feedback, I really appreciate it. Now, if you actually watched the video, notice that I never said what the COMMUNITY should do about this. I never said stop uploading vids about MrBeast or spreading the info, etc. I talked about what you do in regards to the drama as an INDIVIDUAL. Yes, things are important if they don't directly have an effect on your life. But letting them consume your time and energy JUST because you get fake highs of the negative emotions, that's what I was warning people against. Nobody is being obsessive? I suppose you speak for everyone? I directly made this video for the people that were spending HOURS of their day following the drama. They weren't helping to contribute to it, all they were doing was consuming it. They weren't watching for education, they were watching for entertainment. Alright, I concede that me saying "I don't care" might have been misinterpreted, and I take responsibility for that. Obviously caring about something that does not affect you is the basis of empathy. I just wanted to help people who were on the extreme side of consuming content and doing nothing to help, e.g if you care about the war in Ukraine, watching every single bit of news, spending hours on that, I would not consider healthy. Donating money because you care, sending caring letters to soldiers, etc., that's a beautiful thing that results from human empathy.

You want to care about the causes, not the consequences. MrBeast is the umpteenth youtuber who have done questionable things. There will soon be another one, and then another one, etc. You could try to understand KZbin from a sociological standpoint. Parasocial interactions, reification, hyperreality, the dichotomy between what youtubers are supposed to do (to create videos) and what their real goal is (to show ads to people), etc. There is probably a lot to learn. You could even tell people about what you have learned, in a book or something. Maybe you would find out that the apathetic dystopian society is already there. Or you can just watch 15 videos about this drama, then wait for the next drama, watch 15 videos about it, etc. Not sure it's a great use of your time. As much as I agree with you, this whole social media hate train against mr beast is a must. If all of the users of this platform just say "oh wow mr beast did some scummy things I sure won't support him in the future anytime soon!" then yeah, we can move on, but noo this is a platform inhabited by users that ranges from barely conscious children to fully functioning adults with almost 0 digital literacy (a very wide spectrum). So unfortunately, its very hard to deliver the "Mr beast is scummy" message across the entire platform. One of these methods is keeping the problem at hand relevant to avoid the perpetrator getting away (ehem ehem Logan paul, sssniperwolf, etc.) this could be done by making shitloads of commentary videos about the topic. You can easily point out that "oh everyone on the platform already knows about the drama" BUT NO! Just look at the newest comments on his newest video! Full of naive and susceptible children that won't believe a relatively irrelevant guy badmouthing their hero.

I agree. We know this Mrbeast allegation news is already stale by the time part 2 is out for a few days, it's KZbin's job to hold him and his entire company accountable for all those wrongdoings YET THEY DIDN'T. That's why most people in know of this subject isn't overly critical about the content farming of this topic, cuz if KZbin decided to not act, what else are we going to do? Make him the next Logan Paul and SSSniperwolf and let another shitty human being profit off this platform until another piece struck and let the cycle continue?

Yea. As much as I would like to agree with this guy; what hes talking about is way too idealistic. Also, Mr beast have 300+ million subs; had hundreds of content supporters backing him up (before all these drama started; still have tbh). Over the last 4 years, all the content creators have been glazing him/defending him and now of course all these content creators are going to flame him because they feel justified. Sure if it was a content creator with 1 million subs then I can see the point of saying commentators blowing it way out of proportions but Mr beast can be a whole entire country at this point. If some president did some very bad thing; international news all over the world will pick it up and I don't really see anyone complaining news as "too much coverage" (and before you say its a bad analogy; jimmy had expressed interest in running for presidency). Alot of commentator channels also are self aware they are milking it but isn't this what you do for content? Mr beast found the right formula and hes also milking the same type of content. Sure the value of the prize change, contestant change, the challenge changes, etc etc but the core idea is the same. You find a thing you can capitalize of off and if it works really well, you keep doing it. This is capitalism.

While I do see your point, I mostly disagree. Life has no objective meaning as it is fundamentally subjective. Therefore, tuning into youtuber drama is not inherently more worthless than your everyday existence. After all, anything that one does *willingly* is attached to a surprising root of selfishness. Even though I agree that it's preferable to guide ourselves with a tidbit of pragmatism, our being on this lone 'rock'-- based on our made-up definitions of what those symbols correspond to within the context of description and communication-- is what we personally make of it. As for worrying about negativity, it becomes a painfully arbitrary rabbit hole of purely self-created and self-contained misery. One example is time. Many people would say that 'time can be wasted.' I vehemently despise that notion. Time is only wasted if *you* force yourself to believe it can be. As stated before, *everything* is based on the subjective lens of human perception. If one spends their truthfully satisfied life playing video games-- a stereotypical 'loser' activity-- there is no soul who can, with an honest heart, think that they wasted their time. There is endless pain and suffering in the human condition which we gracefully overlook; to argue about the miniscule possibility of one experiencing slight negativity due to the revelation of an influential man's wrongdoings can easily be seen as pointless when practically most of existence is undesirable to say the least. To take it a step further, in the grand scheme of things you are essentially looking at a situation where an undoubtedly bad person is being criticized and going against the ones doing it. That may not be your intention, but it certainly comes across that way for an unknowing person scrolling through the internet. I bring this up because it happens far too often, where the act of discussing the harm that an individual has done, or the victims of said misdeeds, is suddenly preconceived to be overblown or less important before even starting the argument. This goes in line with the aspect of pointlessly fighting imaginary enemies. Though that is a different topic.

I'm guessing the comment is made in jest, but for those who want to know: Jimmy Donaldson, is a guy living in the USA. As a kid, he made a youtube channel called "MrBeast", that became the most subscribed to worldwide, and now it's grown into a multinational machinery, aggressively unethically marketing children globally. He was also involved in physically and mentally breaking down a young man -Jake Weddle- who worked closely with him. Jake was exposed to torturelike conditions, on camera 24/7, for several days with no breaks. They didn't make a video upload of what was shot for the channel, cause it was obvious that something was not right. There's plenty more. And I agree with Oleax. If only consuming 'drama' for 'entertainment', rather than learning from it, for instance as an example of how we can easily go from 'rags to riches' and become a part of the same systems holding masses in rags for a few to live in riches. If you're not learning from it, and you're just getting riled up, it's not good for you, -whichever 'side' you come from. 'News' and 'information' can be a method to overwhelm and to keep people in a distressed state, and have us fight amongst ourselves, while nothing is done to shift the rags/riches divide.

I’m chronically online trying to figure out why Jimmy is getting all the hate and feel with each rabbit hole I go down, the more I get enticed to watch such videos hating on him. Feel your perspective opens up a new one for me, a positive one if anything, as I really am bored of watching those negative videos. Especially the ones by that one dude who makes the “documentary” style videos. Feel it’s unneeded in my world, as I already suffer from self-negativity (being on the autistic spectrum makes it worse at times), and I don’t need more of it in my life. Finally. Someone spoke up about this. People online really want drama and controversy, which I got to say I am not exempted from it, but it becomes to the extreme where people try to find the negative of everything. Most of the updates regarding the Mrbeast drama by random channels use the topic of "MrBeast is a fraud", "getting cancelled), and so on and so forth. Those KZbin channels do this just for the sake of views, 💵💵💵, they add the most clickbaiting thumbmails, exaggerate the title, and put some kind of speedrun gameplay. I DO NOT support Mrbeast in any way at all, he is disgusting and corrupt. But like bro said, following this drama that has nothing to do with you, giving a negative point of view on life instead of actually focusing on what's important. It changes our perspective on how we view the world. I understand the reason why this is done is to spread awareness over the fact that Mrbeast is a bad KZbinr. You don't need to tell everyone that Mrbeast is evil and spread that everywhere. But in the end, it's your life, your opinion. My advice is to stay out of the negative when it doesn't affect you in any way. Thank you for reading this (if you did) :) (This is just my opinion on this topic, I am not glazing Mrbeast whatsoever)

I'm not being negative, but Don't you think Mr. Beast is trying to show off? Maybe he had good intentions, but if he was so good, he would go to Africa or at least give Charity to them and donate. But no, instead, he spends his time giving a poor person a Lambo who can't even afford to pay for it. Also, life isn't a competition; in the Bible, life says this life is a race. It is not a competitive race but a race that is worth enduring bc we may not have an earthly reward, but in heaven, there shall be one; saying who or who is not going to heaven isn't my judgment to make. But all I'm saying is God doesn't compare you to what you do it compares to faithfulness. (Correct me if I messed up bc we all make mistakes)

Yeah, I think the hate would have never gotten to this level if the people making the hate videos didn't get so many views from it. I mean my video is also about him lol, but I'm just trying to make ppl see whether or not they're following the drama for the wrong reasons yknow (entertainment over education)

that's the irony in this. it's also interesting because most of this video is a projection. he's claiming how he feels is how everyone feels with strawmans and philosophical ideas that girls discussed at 7 that he thinks he's revolutionary for discussing at 19-25

NO OFFENSE NO OFFENSE- but isn’t this common sense? It feels weird and kinda dystopian to be watching a video about a guy basically explaining what a healthy user-internet relationship is like it’s a newfound concept. Me personally, I do follow all the drama, but I watch one video on it, think about it, and move on, either that or make a video expressing my opinions on it. Also that feeling your describing is just called schadenfreude, I think the audience your appealing too wouldn’t have watched the video anyways, try and appeal to those who actually will. You can bring a horse to water but it doesn’t have to drink it. You seem chill, love the video man, stay cool.

"Remember me when you're famous. Now, let me say my words. I agree with you, bro. Honestly, it's just stupid. If you were in his shoes, you would've done the same. Look at how much good he did, but they cancel him for some shit, and it's so stupid. Everyone talks and jokes about liking girls or things-if you know what I mean-but don't actually mean it. Chris did, but MrBeast is different. What really pisses me off is they talk so bad about him and forget all the good he did. They honestly need to stop. Just leave it. You don't have to make a drama about it-just leave it, unsubscribe, and stay quiet."

First of all this video makes it clear that it is not an analogy on the situation basically what they are telling me is to get a life. Secondly, exploiting people's mental health for views is not acceptable in any way no matter what you are doing

1: Illegal lotteries 2: Team seas only had about 1 million plus raised for just 8 hours of effort 3: he made his newer chocolate have more calories than his older one. The exact thing he was willing to say was bad and compare to Hershey 4:Challenges were rigged 5: Gave an extremely short amount of time to spend for contestants who won “1 million” This list of allegations can be found in dog packs video with evidence. With all that being said, some people will still disagree.

@@Yuma700_0 The wells were already a Christian organization that need money and MrBeast speeded it up. The same with the 100 houses video. Helping 1000 people see around the world. Were mission sites that got funded. Even if MrBeast is not a Christian. God is using him to fund the Church to spread the gospel. MrBeast also is responsible for funding the show the Chosen. He will in the end pay back for the shirts, because he doesn't want legal trouble. Team Sees did a small dent to the problem yes. I have heard that argument before.🥱 The point was for the community to do something positive. He uses the chocolate to fund all of his staff. Beast Philanthropy videos the money goes back into the charity only and does not include paying for staff and plane tickets. So that money has to come from some where. The reason he changed the recipe. Was because it wasn't selling very well and other KZbinrs gave bad reviews. So he went in the opposite direction. He may keep it or change it again. By asking the fans to make up their minds what they want from him. MrBeast has health problems and had good intentions of selling health chocolate. Lets be honest most kids don't want vegetables they want sugar. He stopped giving contestants time to spend since that video and got smarter. As far as the rigged challenges he is not under federal rules when it comes to that and does it for entraining purposes. At the time Jake his video they hadn't done research like they should have done and since then when every people are put in a situation like Jake went through. MrBeast now has a mental health export to tell them when to quit. It's sad 😢to see what happened to Jake, but at least they have learned what not to do now.

@@Yuma700_0 because those allegations dont even come close to the amount of good he has done. Even if he has only done 1/100th of the good he has done the allegations still wouldnt be nearly bad enough to justify cancellation
@uuo91512 ай бұрын
@@BKBK-yo1zz how can you even trust him, like he could just be keeping all the money from team seas and stuff, it said 1$ for one tree part of team trees but a sapling usually costs like 2-10$ so he could just be using all the money for himself. There's no evidence to prove that hes actually doing good, if he showed proof like where the 20 mill trees where planted maybe or in general for the stuff hes donated like where is it actually going to.

Why are there so many hate comments here? This guy is just trying to express his opinion and beliefs about a topic. All this hate literally just proves his point about the negativity on the internet. People should respect other people's opinions even if it contradicts yours.

THANK YOU bro fr. I was even going to make a "response" video, but I realized that making another vid would waste time on people that will disagree with you no matter what you say. If you can't intelligently debate a topic with some people, all you CAN do is wait for them to mature enough to be capable of doing so. Plus, I already said everything I wanted to in the video and pinned comment.
