And when the heart is close enough to Allah swt, the covering will come by itself, out of respect and love to Allah. Even if she has a point, we should be careful not to become like The People of The Book, who today only go to church for weddings, births and marriage. Otherwise, they are doing everything like a non-believer because "The faith is in the heart". May Allah swt give us the strength to be believers who definitely purify their hearts, but also let that inner transformation affect the outside. When you love something truly, you change yourself for it, even if it means letting go of ego or "fashion". Otherwise, it´s like a vegetarian would say "Hey, I believe in my heart that we shouldn´t kill animals...but then I eat their meat in reality".

I feel like we should not generalize people on the basis of how they look...if someone chooses to wear hijab or not...she unknowingly made it seem like people who wear hijab always backbite...or are not good....a person can be a hijabi and a good human being at the same time...and vice versa...just do not blame or generalize people as a whole on what and how they choose to represent themselves especially when by wearing hijab they are doing a more recommend thing by Allah for the society...she is a good person though
