The next episode is my favorite of s1, but the buildup to D’Artagnon’s commission is a great late-stage idea. A lazier script might have thrown it to him for any of his earlier heroic efforts and never used it for a specific storyline.

@@rtaylor7384 nah, I don’t know what it is, but Aramis and the Queen just didn’t sit too well with me. The book has the Queen in an illicite affair with the Duke of Buckingham.

Great reaction. I think I'm the only one who doesn't care about D'Artagnan and Constance....😅. Bring on the the next episode and the romance I care about....lol. The next episode is great and my fave for Season 1. Curious about your reaction to it if this is your favorite so far.
