ABOUT & GAMEPLAY: THE ETERNAL CYLINDER
In The Eternal Cylinder, players control a herd of adorable creatures called Trebhums and must explore a strange alien world filled with exotic lifeforms, surreal environments, and the constant threat of the Cylinder, a gargantuan rolling structure of ancient origin which crushes everything in its path. In this unique alien ecosystem, real-time world destruction, animal AI, and organic exploration and puzzle design all combine to deliver an unforgettable adventure.
Your Trebhums begin at the bottom of the natural food chain but can mutate and evolve with new physical attributes and abilities by eating a variety of flora and fauna. Discover and adapt dozens of mutations, including new traversal skills like flying and swimming to reach new areas, and new senses to help overcome puzzles and dangers. Your many Trebhums can each have different mutations, empowering you to create a unique herd. Each mutation will also change the physical look of a Trebhum and stacking these will generate surprising new creature designs which players will be able to organically discover as they explore this unique alien world.

One of your mates should eat a Spring Worm and become a walking water tank. You need it when traveling across the hot desert! That mutation will convert all the food you eat into water.

The skeleton looking things are called articulated angstocks and when attacking sometimes expose a rattle seed pod eating the pod gives rattle trunk mutation the imposter trebhum are called trerghurm and can be exposed by using bombs water acid or meteor feet

The big mutant hand boss is called The Hand of Fate. The rolling boys are called Exonorater, it takes 8 Big energy Bombs to kill one of them.

It's also very rewarding if an Exonerators is killed too, because they drop ambers that get permanent mutations that servents are unable to remove with their light. Cleansers will also begin to drop them in the desert area onwards, too.

The spikes work on these creatures: - Zooshgarg (the floaty alien that has music & tries to abduct Trebhum with a pink beam of light) - Omnogrom (the butt mouth) - Vooshlop (those dragon things that grab you in the Tundra) - That Angstock thing (the skeleton insect) The only creature the spikes don't work on is the Gargadend.

If you are looking for a specific item for permanent upgrades, try looking for the "third eye" mutation. It will point you to any materials that you have found before.

That prickly skin from those prickle plant fruits is useful, it prevents the Trebhum from getting eaten by most creatures, including the flying alien Zooshgarg (except for Gargadends)

GASP! I just figured out the story from the last episode! So what ever these machine things are, found the human planet and took the humans DNA. They made these half human half robot things and on their conquest for… something… they found the trebum. They wanted the trebums DNA because of its awesome mutation capabilities, but the trebum did… something… and that prevented them from getting the DNA. Then they made the eternal cylinder to flush the trebum out, and now a long long time later this is where the game takes place! I’m also going to say that the narrator is an actual character in the game/universe, but I don’t know what or who he is

The servents of the Cylinder are all pure nightmare fuel. BUT there are native animals in the Trebhum world that are already nightmare fuel; the Omnogrom, Tonglegrop, Treghrum, Roondasluck, Grashtuub & Sklaa are nightmarish in appearance, while Zooshgarg (UFO thing of instant death), Gargadend (slowly digested to death by a plant), and those leech squid things (hypnotise Trebhum to drown themselves) are nightmarish in concept. Would not be surprised that these creatures are the things the devs have SEEN in their nightmares, let alone been given nightmares by them.

I think the Great Ghaar is not killable, just like the Zooshgarg. But if he kills those Exonerators, he can get this Amber that gives a Trebhum a random mutation which a Cylinder Servent cannot remove.

Hey blitz. Theres a quick and easy way to get permanent mutations, thats by killing the Agents of the cylinder (Unifiers, the car things, the baby face thing and a few more)

The Exonerators (baby face car things) are quickly killed by cluster bombs, & he can easily kill the Cleansers (cars) with the Acid Trunk, especially if they're sleeping. If Blitz does kill those, he can get those permanent mutations easily from the ambers.

Yep, this game has plenty of nightmare fuel All servents of the Cylinder = Were once humans, & got horrifically mutilated into cyborgs by the Cylinder 🤢 Omnogrom = Scary human-like butt mouth thing. Looks very uncanny valley. Zooshgarg = terrifying because of the alien music & insta-kills Trebhum just by sucking them up to its mouth Gargadend = Gross pitcher plants that spit acid & has that tongue, slowly digesting Trebhum in its sack 😱 Tonglegrop = Ugly acid spitting abomination, also a cannibal that eats its young. Cool music though Treghrum = It may look like a Trebhum , but it's real form is a horrifying centipede wearing fake Trebhum skin And there's more nightmare fuel to come, especially the final biome (which I won't spoil)
