good marketing strategy....and selling tactics traditional wisdom tells that don't believe these people....media..... nobody made money... except broker....... checks your facts.... always defined by nature.....

washfi May be you are right, may be you aren't, but a person has to start at some place, I advice one to educate oneself and try out investment products cautiously. Besides that, I would be interested in a proposition on what to do rather than what not to do!

I don't trust any fund manager... I know this industry very well... how they fool... of retail investor.... be wise.... think about it why an IIM guy would come in front of TV and tomtamming... blah... blah blah... he is selling..... in this industry people who know how to make make money keep their gap shuts.... handful of people have made money in equity in India.... and SIP does change ur life.... so don't do SIP......use common sense.. why he is appealing to people... because they are running rat race of managing AUM.... all are cheaters... I invest on my own and that is the reason only 2% population invest in equity... you can't make fool all the people all the time... you can but only once..... do your own research and invest... I never rely on any guru... ghantal... wisdom... conduct of interest..... this is the inefficiency of this industry

washfi I don't think so..becoz there are many people who made money & some people who don't,If u don't understand the market then u will be running to advisors & there are some brokers who push their client to buy some crap but it all depends on u if u focus on market & use ur money wisely then there is pretty much chances that u can make a good amount of money
