This was a really wonderful video, Debs. Thank you for sharing so much, your family sounds lovely! I am a middle child, raised by a single mother who worked 60 - 80 hours per week most weeks, so my older sister and I made dinner most every weeknight, probably from when I was 7 and she was 9 (give or take). It was more out of necessity than a parenting choice, but it certainly taught us independence, and also how important it was to be part of a community where you took care of each other, stepped up and did things for others when they couldn't, knowing they would be there to lift you up when you needed it, too.

My first husband was an alcoholic and the girls were not much older when I had to work long hours and much fell to them at home. I think that made the three of us stronger as a unit, although at the time it was difficult. Your family sounds amazing 😊. This was a fabulous tag, thank you so much for creating it 😊

This was positively lovely, Debs. I love hearing you talk about your relationship with your father. Loved seeing Mason again, too. What an adorable little boy he is! I also love that Phil "gets" you. I'm glad that you have him in your life. You also made me laugh out loud a couple of times. I love your defense of yourself in response to your daughters claiming that you stopped cooking for them when they were nine, which obviously did not happen. Delightful, wonderful responses, Debs!

My relationship with Phil is so different to my first marriage and I’m very grateful for him. And my dad really was my hero 😊

Really interesting tag. I too hate litter. Just no need but my absolute pet peeves are rude people and bad driving. I am very close to my 3 boys and they are fond of telling stories about me to others, too, like your girls. I love that you have found the right person for you. Enjoyed your answers.
