I did barrelmancy for this fight last run. I was waiting for any of my character's turns to hit the alchemists fire on top of a barrel,then he swung his scythe to try to hit an elemental and set it all off himself. 😂 I kinda wish I recorded it, but new to pc. Then my companions were yelling at me afterwards implying I intentionally caused Isobel's death.🤠

I think the dialogue got skipped because you tripped the mind flayer outside of combat. It must have stood back up and initiated combat in the middle of the dialogue, which prevented the surprise round. I think of you don't do a maneuver on the mind flayer that would incapacitate it, you'll be get the surprise and the dialogue.

I am currently on #21 try and i didn ´t get that far as you did respectly great job and best of luck to you. (I am always dying to dice random streak of crit hits or some stupid game mechanic like ai schooting throught walls or throwing javelins and it deals double dmg bcs of the falling collision of javelin ) But yeah i ll keep trying :D

What a fight. Damn. What are the rules for this run, anyway? It looks like no archery except for stuff like blindness? Or did they fix Titanstring so archery isn't the way to go anymore?

it was just solo BM fighter, no exploits like Raphael's armour in Act 1 or for gold etc. The vods are available on the Live tab of the channel page if it sounds interesting (can confirm, it was). Titanstring's fine, works as normal
