3% solve rate? Damn, why even bother.
@AnyoneCanSee7 жыл бұрын
3% of murders solved in Belize and 60% of murders solved in the USA. Incredibly in 2015 109% of murders were solved in my country Scotland. The reason being that the murder rate was just 51murders for the entire nation, all solved and the police had enough time to focus on cold cases and solve several of them meaning we had more solved murders in 2015 than actual murders.

Sounds like a series killer. Three people strangled to death. That is a very personal way of killing someone...unnecessary unless you have no other weapon which is unlikely or if the killer wants to savor and enjoy the moment. I would say it was a crime of passion and someone who knows the couple because of the strangelation however, the fact that another woman who is unrelated to the couple was murdered the same way points to a serial killer. Especially since there isn't any obvious motive for the three murders.

Kinda strange to use a case where a Canadian national killed fellow North American residents to make some broader point about how violent Belize is. And not to trivialize the violence problem in Central America, which is incredibly serious, but the tone of this whole report seems misguidedly superior. Like, lots of this gawking at how dangerous the country is could also be done from a Western European/Anglosphere/Japanese/Korean/etc. standpoint at the U.S., which is extremely violent by developed nation standards (including very multiethnic ones like France & Canada, so don't bother replying, nazis).
@zorroalphonso43546 жыл бұрын
USA is the most dangerous place in the world by any standards. 25% of the world inmate population is held in US goulag-prisons. Extreme violence is part of US culture as mass-killings for instance, which rarely happen elsewhere in peace time!

Why can't this be done after the case is solved so we aren't left wondering what happened? Thumbs down!

Cartels got them I bet he was around there talking about how he was prior military and the word went out and they made a move on them hella sad but that's the world we live in my brother went to Belize to visit our cousin who's been living there since 1994 and once he told people he is military he said the eyes and the stairs he said he left immediately because he knew what was to come and that was 2006 he said he just felt stomach pain because he's like I feel like I'm going to have to defend my life moral of the story was he told me never speak on what you do or what you done!!! no way one or two guys would have took them down by themselves to tie that man had to be an assault rifle pointed at him and the woman he loved just my opinion I pray for the families
