Hell yes. There's a rare few characters that I wanna see in a platform fighter just based off how their gameplay would translate and Sybil is absolutely one of them. Putting her mobility and flexibility one notch above the other characters was a very fitting decision.

I've been making a "Smash dream game" design document, and I threw in Sybil as a playable Assist Trophy, albeit with limited attacks due to thinking she didn't have enough unique moves, but this video won me over to her being fully playable! Thanks for the great moveset and having so much passion for everyone's favorite goat-bunny-thing!

I really love the concepts you made for her moveset! I have no idea how to contact you other than through comments. So I was wondering if it's alright if I could use some of these concepts for a mod I'm wanting to work on for Your Only Move is Hustle? Was wanting to re-create Sybil as a modded character for it as your concepts have really inspired me! I will of course credit your concepts in the mod, and I wouldn't be receiving any profit off of it as this is just something I want to do for fun (And I really like Sybil and Pseudoregalia). Thought I'd ask for permission as these are concepts you thought of for her.

An amazing moveset once again! Checked out the Rivals Mod as well, and it's just wonderful! I do have a question, though. How would you go about designing a FPS character? I've been thinking about making my own moveset for Booker and Elizabeth (Bioshock Infinite), and don't know where to start.

If you haven’t yet I suggest taking a look at his Doom Slayer and Gordon movesets to get a general idea. He also made a V1 moveset on his patreon that’s publicly available. Me personally I’d focus on how the character moves in their game (are they slower characters or are they from movement shooters) and what mechanics can carry over as a core of the moveset. Either way tho FPS characters will always have zoner tools.

@@Clownbelt-u2s Thank you! For what I've been thinking of was splitting up the "Vigors" and general Zoning tools. Having Booker's main gun, probably the Hand Cannon, being a strange clone of Mega Man's Buster with a longer range and reload could work. With just about the same purpose as well, racking up damage to lead into combos. Elizabeth herself is the main mechanic, though. She can be sent out to scout for items, though not the actual Smash items. Something like a free reload for his Normal or reloads for his Vigors. Or, her main tool, tears which can be used as cover, like a one-time wall he can use similar to two stacks of Steve's blocks. Just like the main mission of the game, "Bring Back the Girl and Wash Away the Debt", protecting her is the main goal of the moveset, and laying down draws with Tear walls and Vigor traps (Something like Devil's Kiss's mine mechanic) should keep Elizabeth safe from cover.

Once again, I don't really have much to say other than this was good, I haven't played the game (I don't actually have a steam account lol) but still, from what I've seen/heard, this does look like a good representation of it, I think my only issue is that I'm kinda iffy on the alts, they definitely don't suffer as much as Cloud and Sephiroth's do, but still they do look kind of same-y with all of them having the same four colors for each of them, I honestly would've just gone with original color pallets for her base design tbh with maybe having a second costume for half like cloud.

Grrrr that's the name of the Rival character, not the protagonist!!!!! Astral Chain has no canon name for the protagonist aside from them having the last name of Howard. So it'd be better for them to just be called Legionis, like what they've done with Pokémon Trainer and Hero.

It'd be much better to just refer to them by their role in the game as a Legionis, again much like Pokémon Trainer, Hero and to an extent, Inkling as well.

Sybil. Advantages: good rushdown tools, great neutral with high reach since she has a big weapon, invencible dp, lot of mixup options Disadvantages: low health, hard to play for having to be patient with her moves sometimes, playing with 1 hand, busting one at the controler making her even harder to play, ur gonna be called a furry simp. Yeah she seems balanced! 😄👍
