I unsubbed to him when this happened, because i saw that i was subbed to an unfamiliar channel and didnt know it was scaretheater. I watched his newest videi not knowing what happened (although i afterward read a comment that explained it, though i didnt realize the connection), and after i watched this, i went back and resubscribed to him. Anyway, thank you for the video. It is the best video to explain what happened

I never knew this happened 2 months ago considering it’s been awhile since I’ve seen ScareTheater’s channel. Man, it disgusting hackers with no soul except greed and crime would take over another user’s hardworking channel to promote untraceable crypto currency, rather than just simply make their own channel/profile and keep their greed over there. TBH, trolling hackers are worse, but crypto hackers are more vile considering what their intentions are that are worse than just labeling someone as something “negative”.

What a wacky incident. My own story is quite similar, I checked my sub feed only to see this Crypto garbage live stream, however I knew right away it was a hacked account; See a friend of mine, who had a much smaller sub-count (an account of a few thousand) was hacked and used as a Livestreaming platform for Crypto not too long ago, this stuff is rampant. I didn't know whose channel it might've been until I saw the unlisted playlists and then clocked onto the Scaretheatre URL. My heart sank and I wondered if they account would ever be restored due to Eric not being very active, I thought he'd miss it until it was too late. Thankfully it all got resolved pretty quickly, despite the minor heart-attack that struck after seeing the channel terminate lmao. But I digress, these Crypto shill hacks are getting really annoying and out of hand and it's driving me insane lmao.
