FYI: X and Z can be up to 4095, Y only up to 255 as each galaxy is rather flat as opposed to a cubic structure.

Try save editor and go to negative numbered galaxies. Me and one other person decided to play with it back around 2018, and we were both exploring negative numbered galaxies. I put down a few bases in galaxy -1, however it was difficult to get to and stay in as the game keeps throwing out heavy JSON glitches. Seems that all negative numbered galaxies are the same, just different names. Neg galaxies are like a very early version as geks speak normally, and it was quite neat. Instead of saying ammr, or dasbrassafrag, he would say hello friend and so on. UPDATE: Apparently all negative numbered galaxies are either completely removed now, or completely blocked including save editor access. I have tried to get back to Pequibanu, and have been blocked at every attempt. Shrugs, oh well.

I would suggest if u want more people to see the video u can change the title into "no man's sky hidden (or secret) star systems" to get the algorithm to recommend this to people who watch no man's sky content because I only found this video by searching up no man's sky phantom stars and most of the community from what I found out doesn't even seem to know what is a phantom star system. Ps: great video and can you make a video exploring shadow star systems cause I can't seem to find anything or anyone uploading a video on it. Once again awesome vid.

Yilsrussimil is strange. The galaxy map says you are in Euclid, but entering any system in 257 states Yilsrussimil. Galaxy map showing for Euclid messes up everything. System colors do not match up as well as planet numbers in systems on galaxy map do not read properly. It's quite frustrating trying to find specific systems.

I died in the upper atmosphere of a planet and respawned on such a glitch-planet. I had never been there before and taught it was a feature of the game. The planet was filled with gold and silver deposits and I could harvest these strange glitch-monoliths that were between some kind of trees, but I don't know what they are for. I have a base there, It's called "purgatory?" It looks a lot like the picture you show at 5:57, but it was more dark. Do you know what those glitch-monoliths are for?

That is just a normal exotic planet. They are pretty rare, but they can be found through normal gameplay.

At the edge of the galaxy there are stars i can't select since i use a mod to warp anywhere in the galaxy!

I had a massive farm base on Likholu but lost access a ways back when they rehid the system. Sadly my base vanished and I can’t glitch there anymore. :( and I’m on Xbox so sadly can’t edit the saves.

Any reason as to why I can’t rename my starships, specifically a few of my star fighters it won’t let me change the names of the ships???

I find it interesting that most people say you cannot use a portal to go to phantom star systems. I just found a portal in an Odyalutai phantom star system. I DID use save editor to reach this system, however I did find a portal here. UNLESS there is something in the file system keeping you from portalling to an "as yet unknown system"? Got the planet address. I may try to use it on a different save and see if I can portal to it. Will be interesting to see one way or another.

You can't go to them though, you get a portal error and it will throw you somewhere else instead if you actually use such a planet's glyphs. :L If a portal works then it's not actually a phantom system and you found a normal system. 600-4096 are used since as far as we are aware nothing above 600 would normally generate. But not everyone contributes to the wiki so for all we know someone's found an area that beats the current record for how many systems can be accessed normally. Said record is at near 600 afaik, and technically you could have over 600 accessable but no one's documented and proved it yet.
