I’m wondering… is she pregnant? There is no reason for her to not just tell her husband who that boy is unless she’s pregnant and worried that husband would wonder if was his or someone else’s. They both think husband can’t make a baby, so naturally he would suspect someone else. She also thinks husband can’t be a father, so she doesn’t know what to say.
