This excerpt is from the "Jesus Is Lord" program entitled "Perceive Ye the Love of God" recorded "LIVE", November 29, 1994. Apostle Joseph Holloway explains how God was manifested into the flesh to give us power to become the Sons of God and live a life free from sin. He also continues to debunk the Trinity.

In Revelations it says "Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus". The faith of Jesus was Judaism. The commandments of God were what Jesus said and the Mosaic law. Also John 1:1 says "And the Word was a god" in the original translation.

No that's incorrect. John 1:17 (KJV) For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Grace and truth is what Jesus taught and did. Jesus said except your righteousness exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees, who actually taught the Mosaic Law, you cannot enter in the kingdom. Matthew 5:20 (KJV) For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. And if you read the rest of the Chapter you will see where he says, You have heard in old times...but I say unto you.... For example; Matthew 5:27-28 (KJV) Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Those things Jesus said exceed Moses Law and are the commandments he is referring to, not the ten commandments. Bottom line is to fulfill the Law you must love as Christ loved. John 15:12-14 (KJV) This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Romans 13:8-10 (KJV) Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. The Law is not of faith.

@@tekone11 We will just have to agree to disagree because I don't see what Jesus said regarding the law as him exceeding it, I see it more as him expanding on it and telling people to focus on intention not just action. We aren't justified by the law but to love God is to try and follow his laws. Nonetheless, I appreciate your work sir.

@@ThomasStewart-ze8tw I appreciate the sentiment, however I would like to pass this on to you. The Law of Moses or Mosaic Law was added because of transgressions, not for salvation. Galatians 3:19 (KJV) Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. It was not in the beginning. It came approximately 430 years after God made promise to Abraham that the nations would be blessed through faith. The law is not of faith as Paul spoke of in Galatians Chapter 3, which I suggest as a study guide. And that faith prophesied about in Abraham's time was to be in Christ, the seed. That's the faith Jesus preached and lived, which works by love. Galatians 5:5-6 (KJV) For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

@@tekone11 From my understand, the law always existed- it just wasn't revealed to humanity yet: Genesis 26:4-5 "I will multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and will give to your offspring all these lands. And in your offspring all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, 5 because Abraham obeyed my voice and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.”

@@ThomasStewart-ze8tw Because Abraham believed whatever God told him he did it but that's not talking about the Law of Moses. When God told Adam not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that was a commandment. In fact the one and only commandment given to man at that time. Nothing to do with the Law of Moses. God commanded Noah to build the ark and how to build it which has nothing to do with the Law of Moses. Genesis 6:22 (KJV) Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he. Even Abraham himself when he told him to leave his father's house, that was a commandment. Genesis 12:1 (KJV) Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: Genesis 12:4 (KJV) So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. And when he commanded him to offer up Isaac that was a commandment. Nothing to do with the Law of Moses. Genesis 22:1-4 (KJV) And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him. Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off. (Does this sound familiar because it is a shadow of Christ) The covenant that God made with Abraham has nothing to do with the covenant he made with the children of Israel under the Law of Moses. Deuteronomy 5:2-3 (KJV) The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day. The covenant made in Horeb is what you now know as the Law of Moses, the ten commandments, but this is when it came about, not before. But anytime God says to do something or not do something is a commandment which is not necessarily part of the Law of Moses. John 10:17-18 (KJV) Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. That commandment to lay down your life and take it up again has nothing to do with the Law of Moses. That's the Law of Christ. 1 John 3:16 (KJV) Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. Galatians 6:2 (KJV) Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

GOD IS ETERNAL , FROM EVERLASTING TO EVERLASTING . GOD HAS NO MOTHER , FATHER NOR BEGINNING OF DAYS NOR END OF LIFE. All that is true, however, for our salvation it was necessary for HIM to do something that was impossible for HIM to do and that was DIE. God being a SPIRIT could never DIE and because he could never DIE the old testament had no power for you to obey it. Neither could salvation in the new testament be wrought except the testator DIE. The testator of the old and new testaments is GOD which is why He had to be made manifest in the FLESH. (1 Timothy 3:16) Hebrews 9:15-17 And for this cause he is the mediator of the NEW TESTAMENT, that by means of DEATH, for the REDEMPTION of the transgressions that were UNDER THE FIRST TESTAMENT, they which are called might receive the promise of ETERNAL INHERITANCE. FOR WHERE A TESTAMENT IS, THERE MUST ALSO OF NECESSITY BE THE DEATH OF THE TESTATOR. For a TESTAMENT IS OF FORCE AFTER MEN ARE DEAD: otherwise it is of NO STRENGTH AT ALL WHILE THE TESTATOR LIVETH. So GOD became a MAN for the purpose of our SALVATION and the enforcement of the testaments. Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
