Pastor Steven I’m not sure if you’ll see this but I want to say this sermon was for me. It felt like you were talking to me , that God was talking to me through you. I’ve never ever been religious. I had my battles with believing if God was even real. Today I say more then ever he is real and has talked to me through you. I found your video the day I had a belt wrapped around my neck ready to leave this earth that has been so cruel to me. Whenever I’m feeling not so great I’ll go back and listen to older sermons. I’ve been listening to you for about a year now. The Holy Spirit has been guiding me in ways I thought were not possible. Your sermons speak to me in consequent coincidences. I woke up the other night, and I heard “god speaks in landmarks” satisfaction comes with action. I’ve been wanting to visit your church, or one of them. And I heard “concord” I am searching, and I see a town concord close to Charlotte. I think that means something. I have days I feel my faith is low, or I wake up and wish the rapture would just come, I pray over my marriage, for people who need a prayer and don’t even know they need a prayer, I pray over my 6 kids, I pray for eyes to be opened like mine have, and strength to continue planting seeds. Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. Bless you and your family and your church. I feel alone in darkness surrounding me, and maybe I’m to be the light , hearing you helps me not feel alone. Thank you.

I almost quit my job in search for seemingly greener pastures elsewhere in 2018 when the still voice inside me kept telling me to stay put and wait because my promotion was on the way. I kept asking myself “how God” because the ground had been dry for any promotion to come by. 3 senior colleagues resigned in a space of 7 months including my boss, and I was promoted in March 2019, and again April 2019. Had they hired me where I was hoping they would, there’s no way I would be earning what I’m currently earning. Yet I blamed God when I wasn’t hired. I didn’t understand why I was not reaping with all the sowing I had been doing. Here I’m today earning almost double what I was earning 12 months ago. Glory be to God in the highest

Randomly picked this sermon to listen while working. I have been struggling with my 16 year old teenage boy with ADHD. The reason I have to mentioned with ADHD is because it is a different ball game. I was so hopeless and angry at the same time. Hate to let him go and watch him fail. But sometimes that's what need to happen. I was worried people will judge my parenting skill, what a failure it is. I start comparing him with other kids. I was so tired! Thru this sermon, I truly believe it speaks directly to me. Let me start by saying I have faith in God, his plans for me. I've been out of work for a month and my rent is coming up. Got a new job but to be honest I feel uncertain. I feel like I'm being pulled in a different direction. It might involve picking up and leaving my current situation. Been struggling with this for a long time. I've dealt with a lot of personal issues including the death of my brother 2 years ago. I feel like there are too many distractions in my life keeping me from a better relationship with the Lord. My current lifestyle I know isn't pleasing to him, but I feel like I'm stuck in a endless loop of working jobs to pay rent but I lack direction.I put too much importance on what I own and going after things that don't matter. I feel like I need a fresh start so I can in my walk. I'm dealing with vision problems and my eyesight is deteriorating. What a wonderful resource this church is, and I hope to be able to be able to do the things God has put on my heart. WOW! This touched me on another level - I've been praying and asking God to reveal how he wants to use me next and after all the wise counsel, this brings everything full-circle. I need to continue to RELEASE those seeds and REMAIN with those seeds I've sown. Praying that everyone in the EC team keeps up this amazing stewardship.
