Man of God, I must say that pleading the blood of Jesus upon myself and children have work for me. How can we put on what is Holy without first being cleansed? That is why it is through the 'water and the blood'. "This is he who came by water and blood-Jesus Christ; not by the water only but by the water and the blood. And the Spirit is the one who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth." 1 John 5:6 ESV The blood unites us to his armor and protection and all things spiritual to have. "Therefore not even the first covenant was inaugurated without blood." Hebrews 9:18 ESV Meaning the new covenant only happens with Jesus's blood. "But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ." Ephesians 2:13 ESV We cant be brought near without the blood. If we are not near him how do we have his armor, powers of discernment, gifts, and all others. "how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God." Hebrews 9:14 ESV Literally "dead works" without it, no armor no power no protection, we would be evil. Very wrong here. It is the absolute foundation of it all. The Blood
