It doesn't. There would be various equally or otherwise detailed patterns in rock or soil near relatively active volcanos today, not only the 'millions of years ago there WAS...' dimwitted criteria.

You guys should have splurged on the $80 boat rental. Its only 5 minutes by boat, and the boats are a 1 minute walk from the parking lot.
