Hello. Greetings from Istanbul, Turkey. The heartbreaking scenes you are about to watch are a rare occurrence in our country. I am 40 years old, and this is the first time I have encountered such a situation. A homeless man has moved into a shelter built by people for street cats. He says he is living there with the cats and mentions that the roof is leaking. I need to clarify something. In our country, there are shelters built by the government and municipalities for homeless people to stay. Additionally, there are free soup kitchens in every neighborhood where homeless individuals can eat. Our government and municipalities do not leave anyone to live on the streets like this. There are two possible reasons why this man is living on the streets: either he has refused the available help, or he is a drug addict. From our conversations, I can tell that this man is mentally unstable. I reported him to the municipal and state authorities. The municipal police removed him from the shelter. However, whether he returns tomorrow or chooses to seek refuge with the state is entirely up to him.

I suppose it is not ideal for him or the cats, i hope his condition ir his addictions, (if he has any) don’t lead to any harm or danger to the cats. 🙏🏼.
