I applaud the man who is not just slavishly trying to copy Stradavari, but experimenting on his own to come up with alternate solutions. As an amateur musician and luthier I can tell you that no two pieces of wood react and resonate in the same way. It is in this tuning of the wood by removing more or less wood that separates the great ones.
