The Mystery Unfolds! Blue water cave in Bukidnon, Philippines

Blue water cave is located about 10kms from maramag town proper just at the boundary of Quezon. There are no signs pointing to the cave so you have to ask the locals. The easiest reference however is the first bridge going to Quezon (along Bukidnon-Davao road) crossing the Pulangi river which marks the boundary.

The river itself WAS CLEAR blue as far as your eyes could see from both sides of the bridge. BUT that was before the dam was built in the early 1980's. After the dam was built siltation started turning that part of Pulangi river BROWN. SAD STORY.

@@SerDex_Adventures In the early 1980's po we took that route to Davao City every Dec. for vacation. There were no buses yet. The old jeepneys were the only means of public transport. Roads too were bumpy, dusty or could be muddy. Variety of trees with moss laden trunks lined the road shoulders particularly between Quezon and just before Calinan. But that river crossed by that bridge was always what I would not want to miss as a traveler. The aqua marine to deep crystal clear blue water depending on the time of day never fails to quicken the road weary passenger. The water impoundment for hydroelectric power in Bukidnon was not existing yet and electricity was not available for 24 hrs.
