I’m sitting here listening to Muta Baruka and I’m wondering if most of the people understand what he is saying due to the fact that he is speaking fluent jamaican patwah In ordering get the message across to the people who are foreigners wouldn’t it be better to relate to them in the queen English especially if he wants them to get full clarity and understanding of his message . This is just my opinion of the situation
@fabianoertel6540 Жыл бұрын
Given the fact that this reasoning takes place at a reggae festival in Spain I think chances are good that people understand him. I think them quite used to hear jamaican patois through musical preference even though them no speak it.
@lexied7317 Жыл бұрын
I always think about this. My husband is Canadian and I was hesitant to play mutabaruka videos around him. But he said he understood what he was saying and that I was just exaggerating about his speech. So I don't know 🤷🏾♀️

His patios is not thick and hard to understand. He's very clear.

@@waitaminute2015 tell that to these foreigners he’s trying to get his message across to and see if they will agree with you as a regular jamaican it might not sound like gibberish to you but to others who are not familiar with it it’s another thing please 🙏 think out of the box
@waitaminute2015 Жыл бұрын
@@julietpaul2590 I'm not Jamaican, although I have lived there. I speak American English. Muta is basically speaking English with a patios accent.

Muta says he can't speak for Ras Tafari because he knows he doesn't follow the teachings of Haile Selassie I! He IS NOT A RASTAMAN, look he wears an Ankh and not the cross (meskel) of Haile Selassie I church (TEWAHEDO)
@lionartqedamawi Жыл бұрын
The problem is he is leading people away from the truth of Ras Tafari but yet claiming to be Ras Tafari? people like him are the contradiction. There is No contradiction in Ras Tafari the man Haile Selassie i. The problem is people use the name Ras, Rasta, Ras Tafari because of the power in the name but do not follow Ras Tafari.@@zenheadshot3742

Exactly, why he say Ras Tafari if he does not follow Ras Tafari teachings? Identity theft that is!
@bongoeshebantu6713 Жыл бұрын
Muta NEVER understand that last question. The questioner was putting the sufferation of people in Afrika in the context of Afrika being rich in natural resources. And wanted to know about that contradiction... what is possibly the explanation. Muta simplify the most important question he was asked, and start talk bout corrupt Afrikan leaders (and not the genuine Afrikan leaders that the west murdered, for being too pro Afrika), and some Black people being worst than the white colonialists(!) Missed opportunity to talk about the western powers persistent rape of natural resources in Afrika, purposely keeping Afrika in poverty, and the economic control they, to this day, still exercise over that continent. Comissioning the murder of leaders that are not corrupt, and are for the development of Afrika. Love you Muta, but you fuck up big time pon dah great opportunity deh ... I also thought your ego got in the way of you dealing with the question properly. You were even slightly dismissive of our brother who asked the question. Sad.
