Yes, and there are othere similar scenes in the movie that probably have been inspired by Final Fantasy X which is great in my personal opinion. Because Jackie Chan is the perfect Tidus and Hee-seon Kim the perfect Yuna.

I noticed the first time I saw this movie and I found it awesome. FFX definitely inspired this scene. It's the real life representation of Macalania Forest scene between Tidus and Yuna which is awesome. The one who had this idea deserves a raise.

This is not the complete scene. This is the second version. The original was a real copy of the scene in Final Fantasy X, and obviously they got into trouble and had to change the scene.

i always wonder if this scene try to recreate the mighty and mysterious Emperor Qin Shi Huang Tomb... researcher detect tons of mercury in the tomb protecting it from intruders. If you all remember toward jackie wanna exit the tomb, the tmb raider die in the mercury river (which indeed a part of the trap)
