Gabor is very easy to listen to, no strain in his voice whatsoever, no ego no need for validation, so refreshing.

Mark Wolynn has written about trauma in his book IT DIDN'T START WITH YOU...he says that the child is born with epigenetic imprints from many generations of trauma. Gabor made reference to it in The Myth, btw. I highly recommend Mark's book.I'm reading it again and think i like it better than The Myth of Normal bc it gives you practical suggestions.

@@ArtofCharmTV how he's less of an idiot at 79 than he was at 78 (or something along those lines), ha ha. Joking aside, many beautiful things, such as the 5 R's. I know other versions, but it's good to be reminded, and how we work so hard to fix (ourselves) to compensate for believing we're not enough.

"I'm only human", is a platitude. Each of us represents a unique point on the spectrum between Nazarene and Nazis. The question is: where on the spectrum are we? And, I don't think there is anyone occupying the real estate in Noman's land; no one sits on the fence between left and right. Stay safe and be well. Love from Edmonton. ♥

Sorry but gotta call BS on this "not being picked up while crying" and alot of other bubble boy philosophies this guy preaches. Trauma is NECESSARY for growth in every aspect of life. Just like tearing muscle tissue for muscle growth. Just like putting your hand in the fire and getting burned to understand that getting burned hurts. Just like getting slapped for grabbing a girls ass when youre a kid and dont know any better. Or getting slapped when you cuss as a kid and dont know any better. This guy is literally a walking contradiction. His "traumatic childhood" is the reason for his success today. Hes just too slow to see it.
