The original was the adventures you had while growing up. This version is remembering those adventures when you're older.

The original version of this song is how I discovered TNAF. I watched one of the Nickelodeon side channels going to bed, and it was still on when I woke up. I woke to the music video of Young Blood. At first, I thought it was a commercial for Levi’s or something, but after it played for more than a minute, I realized it was a music video. I didn’t have Shazam at the time, but I knew it was going to say the title at the end, as all music videos on tv do, and wrote down the song and artist. That week I went to a cd store and picked up Passive Me, Aggressive You, and the rest is history.

I feel like you guys have grown up alongside me, sort of guiding the way. In high school Passive Me, Agressive You was a perfect outlet for my anxiety and ambition. In Rolling Waves marked a coming of age. Simple Forms resonated with recent relationships I had and now this. It feels like you are tying my youth in a beautiful knot, not to end it but to preserve it. Thank you and I can't wait to see where's next :)

I always will be grateful with the movie PROM (2011) because his soundtrack introduced me to TNAF music with the song Young Blood. So I discovered this band in the first months of 2012. I am waiting what proyect is coming after A Still Heart.

My first boyfriend absolutely loved the original. Me, I thought it was ok. A few months after he passed away the Renholder remix was released on the Underworld: Awakening soundtrack and I fell hard for the track. The original as well. He would have adored this.

I find comfort and peace in music, and TNAF were one of the artists i had on repeat when i was a teenager, and whenever i feel lonely. Seeing them live in Wanderland 2016, which is the first music festival I've attended, that moment was amazing beyond words. I can't remember back then when was the last time i felt alive and happy about being alive. Though up until this day i kinda feel sad when i think about it cos i lost all the photos and videos because of my brother, but the memory lives on. Thank you TNAF for your music. I'm always grateful for artists like you guys.

Thank you so much for this journey! The stripped songs sound "nice" but I loved your tunes mostly for their wild, experimental beats. I am a bit sad, to be honest. But if you have more fun to perform it that way I am happy for you guys. Thank you again very much. You play a fantastic role in my life.

[Verse 1] We're only young and naive still We require certain skills The mood it changes like the wind Hard to control when it begins [Chorus] The bittersweet between my teeth Trying to find the in-betweens Fall back in love eventually Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah [Verse 2] Can't help myself but count the flaws Claw my way out through these walls One temporary escape Feel it start to permeate We lie beneath the stars at night Our hands gripping each other tight You keep my secrets hope to die Promises, swear them to the sky [Chorus] The bittersweet between my teeth Trying to find the in-betweens Fall back in love eventually Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah [Bridge: Thom Powers] As it withers, brittle it shakes Can you whisper, as it crumbles and breaks? As you shiver, count up all your mistakes Pair of forgivers, let go before it's too late Can you whisper? Can you whisper? Can you whisper? Can you whisper? [Chorus] The bittersweet between my teeth Trying to find the in-betweens Fall back in love eventually Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah The bittersweet between my teeth Trying to find the in-betweens Fall back in love eventually Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Aaron Short gave to this band an unique signature with pulsating beats, a good bass and an energetic atmosphere to their sound. Just check their solo proyect Space Above, the album Glow reminds me a lot of Passive me, Agressive You and In Rolling Waves. I hope he can work with Thom and Alisa again. Now I'm happy that now Thomas is working in his own music proyect, I'm curious and excited about what he will do in the next months 😊🙌🎶🎸
