I first heard nana when I was in grade 7. I was hooked on her beautiful voice, but also her sweet and gentle manner. From then one I was always lucky enough to get to see her every 2 years when she would come to Canada. I always was able to also get to see her back stage where she would sign all my album covers. She made feel so special. She always remembered my name would have photos taken. I always would bring photo from each concert past for her to sign. I now am 60 years old and still have a very deep respect for her. We will never see another Nana Mouskouri.

Found this video after watching a recent documentary on BBC4 (Nana Mouskouri at the BBC). Can remember watching these as a child in the 1970s but not realising then how good both she and these shows were. Compared to now, we really did live the Golden Age of TV then. Love the King's Singers and James Galway as well.

What a splendid show ! Thanks for presenting it i youtube. My two top singers (since 40 years ago) are together, Nana Mouskouri and Demis Roussos and singing a beautiful song which the lyrics pronounce the name of my country, Mexico. Now that Demis Roussos is no longer living, this video is a fine present for us and a lovely souvenir of that moment, preserved for ever and ever. God bless Nana Mouskouri still for many years.

I feel like, I should be paying for this. Thank God for Odysseus. Since he taught us, Greeks, how to protect ourselves against Sirens, we begun sending them out of the country, luring you for a change! Thanks, BBC!
