Do you mean the pink one? It's an X-acto. I think I bought it at Michaels or Joann's years ago

This is such a great pattern. I just want you to know. It is very tough for a Juki 2000 to, but, it is worth it.

I thought the white zipper tape was a design choice. It makes the rainbow zipper pop. It would have been lost with a black tape.

I use to have that same problem with the handles and straps curling, but not any more. I changed two things. 1 I make sure when taping down my edges line up at the end and I do not rub the vinyl because that pulls and stretches the vinyl. And second I do not hold more then one finger on top of the vinyl when sewing. I plant a finger on either side of the strap so that it can not move. I use one finger to maneuver small movements as needed. I've had great results since thoes changes.

Great video, thank you. Please can you tell me what the zipper jig tool is that you use? The term zipper jig just brings up the prongs to attach the zipper pull, not to lay over the zipper teeth. Thanks.

Hi what is that zipper jig actually used for? I mean you already have the zipper pull on so why slide it with the tool? Thank you 😊

I use the zipper jig to help with my topstitching around zippers, and the reason that I use it on the zipper when it has a pull on it is because it can close the open end of the zipper so that it keeps my topstitching even. It's always best to sew a zipper when it's closed, and the zipper jig helps me to do that!

KZbin got it right! Love the Beetlejuice vibes! What I learned for my straps to keep from turning, is to start from the same end I started from. It was weird at first not to start from one end then pivot, sew the short end pivot, and sew back to the same end I started. It comes natural now. No more turning straps! Adding this pattern to the stash.
