The ZB and TLT dropped because all those bond holders sitting on huge profits selling out their positions and moving back into equities. The CRB and /AW look like they have bottomed suggesting the real threat of rising inflation sooner than anyone expects.

@michaelfirefox7000, I’ve looked into this phenomenon and the best answer I’ve found is- Each broker may use only (its) own data and computations, to derive their range. There are a number of different calculations that are acceptable. OptionAlpha gives the most accurate expected weekly range I’ve found…They use a collection of different brokers & calculate using something called VIX Theory!? In the end, I treat it like a weather person giving a forecast for a week in the future…They can probably get you into the correct season, but are only really accurate about 55% of the time!😉(No offense Matt, ToS is the least accurate, in my small sample size research . Not your fault)👍🏻

When the next bear market comes, especially with everyone jumping in with both feet, it will be fast and swift, like 20% in 3 weeks. The newbies will continue to buy the dip until the S&P hits 2500 and trades there for possibly years, much like the 1970s. If you are planning to retire or are retired, you have no business in a market that is selling for nearly 30x forward earnings. I’ve been trading for 40+ years and have never seen so much speculation in crypto, equities, and real estate by so many people in my entire life. I got out of all equities in March-May (1M+) and into high grade corporates and U.S. Treasuries, hedged with 10% in physical precious metals and $50K in a spec account sticking with passive income defined risk options strategies.
