the strategies are quite rigorous for the regular-Joe. As a matter of fact, they are mostly successfully carried out by pros who have had a great deal of skillset/knowledge to pull such trades off.

The Nvidia sell off is just stupid. TSMC made it clear that demand is high. ASML didn't deliver as much as expected - though they say they'll make up for that in the second half of the year. For whatever reason, if fabs are not taking new machines to expand capacity right now, that just means that demand will continue to exceed supply. Demand isn't going anywhere. The companies that want the chips are sitting on tons of cash. On top of that, Nvidia is TSMC's second largest customer after Apple. Who is going to be in front of the line for AI chips?

I have a 3 fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and TSM overlap too much to make sense holding both? However I’ve been in the red for months now in a time when everything seems to be going up! I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait but watching my portfolio of $450k dwindle away is such an eye -sore.

Holding both total stock market and S&P is way too much overlap of the companies that make both indexes go. I would choose one and perhaps consider a high growth dividend ETF like SCHD or the Vanguard equivalent. For more growth you might consider taking smaller positions in an individual growth companies. AAPL, MSFT, NVDA, GOOG, TSLA, etc.

What do you think about the -23 of SMCI yesterday? It certainly had a strong effect on Nvidia's drop as analysts believe, SMCI's decision to not release a preview for the quaterly numbers suggest bad numbers. Great video. I hold a significant amount of shares in a Canadian cannabis business, was down $400k, maybe a bit more (nothing that this company did but because of the sentiment in the sector in general). Fast forward to today (with significant averaging down while the stock was beaten down), I'm up just over $200k and still confident that after doing my due diligence I see this number going to over $1000k.

Imo Dan Ives was spot on with his Tesla analysis. Even the model 2 was far out in reality, but focusing on robotaxi that is extremely far out. Combined with the weak sales numbers aka growth being dead, Tesla is not set up well. Valuation is still very high, execution is far behind. I agree that sentiment is low, but Elon has very few new lies in his pocket to keep the stock alive for the next few years. Even if interest rates lighten up, it will be hard to resume promising growth.
