Everyone looked as if he/she were having a good time, but the director most of all. They all really felt the emotion of the song. Great to see and hear.

I agree! This was a very chilling performance. I get that feeling very, very rarely with music. This is great fun.

@SRVLVR I knew I felt a jazzy tone from her on this. I can dig it. ;)

those notes were excellent they may not have been what a choral group would do. but for gospel i gotta give it to you...

great singing and acting! so happy to find such stuff on youtube :) as a singer and conducter (part-time/hobby) this is an inspiration to me ;) this music makes the listeners jump up from their chairs and rejoice! is that "scratching" sound (don't know how to better describe it) of the soloist at 0:17 intended as part of gospel/african/jazz style? (or maybe she just couldn't control her voice perfectly in that moment). no pun intended! errors are human and live performances is the real thing! :)

I think they do, it's just that Ms. Richardson's mic is too loud and the rhythm section also.

Lol, it's quite funny to see folks confuse vocal power and strong range with yelling and screaming, I mean if they can't tell the difference between "get in ya ear" sangin' ,smooth, rhythmic, senses tingling tones or spiritually inclined intonation that move through your soul over screechy off pitch whaling or annoying nasally high rifts somethings is just not right. I've never heard this woman before today but I must say, she's amazing! 00:44-51 OMG!!!!
