I am a native Texas, I have been to this renfair Many times. It is 100% worth going, but if you go, you need a full weekend because you will never see everything in one day. Get the Kings Feast, and you will have the best time ever!!

I’ve been attending this faire since I was 3, working it since i was 16. This 2023 season will be my 11th season working! Because of this festival I can now say Im following my heart and doing festivals full time now! I love watching these videos and playing lwhere’s Waldo” with my friends lol.

Other tips, be prepared to spend a lot of money. Many things are very well crafted, so the prices are understandable. Also, since the vendors are from all over the country, your bank might think there's a fraud occurrence, suspending your account. We've had to let our bank know ahead of time, in order to avoid this. If you're planning to wear a corset, know that going to the bathroom is a project. And loosen it in stages when you're ready to take it off for the day. Better for your back. I got my first nosebleed here from the dust, so fyi. And, if you stay for the fireworks, be prepared for a very, very slow departure. Personally, I think the show is worth it. Also, if the King's Feast is still a thing, you might like to go at least once. I miss going so very very much.

I am going for the first time this year. I believe the King's feast is $200-300 per person. I really wish it were in my budget, but that is a bit much for us. We will maybe do some camping, tastings, high tea and the escape rooms instead and stretch the enjoyment out over our visits. So excited!!!

Native Texan (57 years young), Plantersville is a 30-minute drive from my home and I have yet to make this event, while I have made the Dickens On The Strand event more times that I can remember. I will definitely be making a trip out to Plantersville (Todd Mission) this November.

The night events are awesome. But they do get very wild! Find a local rennie next time you take a trip there. They'll show you everything you ought to see. I'll be heading out to camp again for the 5th time this season. Can't get enough of TRF!

I am an 80 year old widow, and I hope to go this November (2024) and camp in the campground, by myself! I am so looking forward to attending, because this will be my first ever REN Festival! I am planning to hand sew a Norman lady’s dress, and will also wear a 16th century Spanish court lady garb. I have my persona, as to why I am wearing a Spanish outfit in England. Can’t wait!

You don't need to blow all your money and buy a ton of stuff to feel like you've had fun. Bring some comfortable walking sneakers and about 80 dollars and you can have fun just walking around enjoying some food and taking in the vibes and the atmosphere.
