After a thoroughly craptacular day, to click on and find a post from FTG took a headache away. The view of Napoleon's sword and the skeleton of his magnificent white arab Marengo was icing on the cake. Thanks for a truly great video.

Super! It was incredible to see those items in real life (as it were). I have read about them, but to see them is humbling. Thank you for making these fascinating videos. Regards from Canada.

The NAM use to be a lot different 10+ years ago, its going down the same route as a lot of other museums. Limited displays, a narrative to set, lots of simple interactive stuff and you can go through in an hour with the kids.

I wholeheartedly agree your Lordship, the Mk I or even the postgreatwar TOG 2, were a sight to behold of, but this Challenger contraption is one single abomination ! Shocking !

An original Hut from Napoleon can be seen in the German hisotrical musejm in Berlin. Haits of Napoleon can be seen in Schloss Königswart, Czech Republic an in Sydney, Australia. In 2013, the Napoleon Museum of Monaco, sold all their 1000 original Napoleon Objects, sadly.

The last time, i‘ve seen a guy with a moustache like that, the conversation went something like this: Dude: Mit allem? Me: Jap. Bitte beide Soßen und scharf.

It’s been totally ruined in fact it was so bad they got in a new director who admitted they’d ‘lost their core audience’ and I’m a member ! As I like the seminars and lecture ,they don’t have the money to put it right

Splendid moustache Cem. Good to see the museum but I pine for the old ways when museums were stuffed with, well, stuff and not have most hidden away and only a curator’s choice allowed to you. These days museums seem to cater either for the serious researcher who can access the hidden items, or small children who have to be spoon fed the facts and backgrounds. Grumpy old man rant ends and normal service resumes….
