Restraint is so much a part of their technique. Even when the song breaks out in "hey baby," it is subdued, almost embarrassed and secretive in tone. No bands today employ this purposeful de-intensifying to such effect.

Every time I hear those opening notes on the piano, it takes me straight back to the first time I heard their last album. And the shiver this song gave me. Lol he did the same thing at his concert yesterday where he would use the instrumental parts to walk back to his drink and sip it, except at yesterdays concert it wasn't a non-alcoholic beverage because he was half way to hammered. So he was drunk enough to the point where you could see he was drunk and it was amusing, but he could still perform amazingly. Near the concert he said this concert was like one of his dreams where he would be playing in a vineyard and lots of people were there, it was a beautiful day and he looked "fucking awesome".
