This guy really is incredible. I've watched countless programs on TV about the same things, each of them an hour long, and I never grasped as much about the subjects as I do watching him for ten minutes. Sir, you have good Kung-Fu.

Consciousness, that's all you need to know. You are aware of being aware, matter has no independent existence but existence has matter. Think of it like a dream and the matter in a dream, what is the matter in a dream made of? The matter in a dream has no independent existence but the dream has matter.

Anyway, Neo Mike, keep in mind this video is from 2010, the Higgs wasn't yet confirmed. The Higgs-Brout-Englert mechanism was a theory from the 60-70s, it still needed experimental confirmation, which was done in 2012. Since this episode was about matter, he left all the bosons out, he didn't talk about the photon, gluon or Z and W bosons either.

About the mass question, wasn't that explained by the Higgs field and the corresponding boson?

just like we never can find the end of the universe, we will never understand space and the smallest tiniest details building blocks that make up atoms.consciousness always acts as an expectations force.everywhere you look you will find an expectation of your holographic expression.that's why you can travel forever in the universe because it's all you mind, or consciousness.the farther you go the more you make up.reality doesn't exist without spectators.thats why we'll never prove these theories

Actually protons are made up 6 quarks, as said by @sixtysymbols (university of nottingham). The other 3 are not known for that long. There might even be more, or maybe not. We aren't sure yet. Well, that's what was said at @sixtysymbols (or what I can remember). Oh and please make videos about all of the things mentioned in the end credits! Please!
