Found you by chance when I watched Ajahn Sona's Buddhist Cosmology series. Gotta say thoroughly impressed with your understanding of Buddhist Cosmology and Buddhism in general, Ajahn Punnadhammo. Thank you for this insightful talk!😌🙏🙏🙏

Love this (35:25): "I think a possible way to see it, that it is mind that is behind all of the life. It's not like it's intelligent and from the outside and creating it, but it's sort of struggling to express itself all the time more perfectly and it has a tendency towards more complex forms that allow for greater awareness and greater consciousness. excellent talk and explanation of citta/vinnana debate. thai forest citta approach always reminded me of mahayana buddhanature or advaita atman/brahman/self no-thing. theravada does away with all that, but still there seems to be always this knowing and aware nature of the mind. except of course if one is absorbed in a fruition or nirodha samapati, then all bets are off..

great talk...was drugged once without my consent...the citta knew what was going on and observed the experience... body, thinking and emotion was heavy affected but the citta remained observend with the strong determination ....other people would be addicted by that drug for me it went traceless...

The BPS may not publish Maha Boowa but I believe he is respected there at least by some. When I stayed at Nilambe the one book given to me was "Wisdom Develops Samadhi". Perhaps this is because it was translated by Acariya Pannavaddho, a westerner like myself. It is excellent.
