What here is half truth? I see that they obviously don't agree with Navajo beliefs of origin and spirituality, but I honestly didn't see any "half truths" here, except for hyper romanticization of the culture like whites often do.

Did he really say how the Navajo are so Fortunate for the Govt. placing them on reservations on the same land on which their native way of life was developed? And their only source of income is based on sales of wool & sheep which can only be bought in spring and fall. If their income is used up too soon they must rely on sales of blankets and jewelry or pawn the jewelry at the store for credit to buy much needed supplies. AmeriKa the beautiful, amber waves of grain, on land stolen from the rightful owners now living on concentration centers in far off arid, barren, bleak lands. Nobody with influence cares. If they did care they would lose their influence.

As much as Diné and other natives may hate this video due to the inferred inferiority, racism, and mispronounciation, this documentary is important. You can't blame the older public's closed mindset when they were watching things like this, where they treat us like another species, exotic, and every other negative thing. It's important as a piece of history.

I'm from New Mexico I live on the Navajo Nation every Navajo I showed this to did not take it has disrespect. They also said you are either not Navajo and if you are you do not know your culture probably a city Navajo.
