I used to listen to the radio series on Sunday nights, approx 1966, there were two other shows - one was "The Men from the Ministry". Thanks for the memory. 😀

Pertwee was cast in the film but replaced with Ronald Shiner. This happened after he heard that Dennis Price wouldn’t be cast because of his sexuality and demanded that Price join him and Leslie Phillips.

@ Him and the rest of the supporting cast (Heather Chasen, Tenniel Evans, Michael Bates) weren’t asked to appear at all. Richard Caldicot actually is in the film, but sadly only pops up briefly in an uncredited role.
