Randle was gonna be playing some 5 this season with the knicks. This solves that problem and we know Kat can slide down to the 4 aswell. There more versatile with KAT

I understand the worry with the bench but don’t sleep on our rookies. I know Thibs has a reputation to not play the young fellas but he now has the experience of having to play a young Mcbride and how positive that was as well as him playing quickly and barrett . I think Kolek and Dadiet will end up playing important roles by regular seasons end. Don’t sleep on Shamet, and if Mitch comes back healthy with Mcbride is a solid bench. If Simms has a career season after hits first healthy offseason as a pro then watch out , the rest of the league is going to have a huge problem out of New York. Championship bound.
