It's curious that the Thunder went from 1st last year to 26th this year in a free throw metric of some kind. Last night they didn't shoot a single free throw in the second half. It's obvious something is up. With the league and gambling being in bed now, it's my theory that it's happening to even the betting sides because there is nothing to be made if one team gets all the money put on them. I think the league is in effect point fixing for the gamblers.

They should be 30th and SGA should shoot less free throws and foul out in the first half from offensive fouls because he pushes off literally every middy, but it's slightly better this year.

the thunder look like world beaters for a stretch of games, then the offense goes flat and they look completely lost for a couple. i guess that's the nature of putting so much on 3pt shooting.

I’m more worried about their consistency quarter to quarter. They really rely on their runs, especially in the 3rd quarter, which means if they don’t establish a lead by halftime they are more likely to choke bc of nervousness in the 3rd

Biggest threat? Boston. They play very similar to the Thunder. They can shoot and the Thunder D relies on forcing a bad shooter to take the shot but you have to go pretty far down the roster for Boston to find a "bad" shooter.

Dallas just played horrendous defense and didn’t make any adjustments all game. You can hear Jason Kidd in the middle of the game yelling at one of the players for doubling while in man. Dallas is still my favorite to win the west.

No, this is a real problem for the NBA. They need to break up this team and pass their defensive players around the league. Their defense made kept Luka only 2 points in the first half. At this time, Thunders have more, 265 steals than turnovers, 249. It's historic. And they're actually winning.

If mavs were allowed to play defense on shai the way dort plays on luka shai would average 3 points, 6 offensive fouls and 2 technicals a game. If you reverse it and call the same fouls shai gets luka would average 55 and 6 fouled out opponents a match. Its not a thunder problem. And yall saw in the play offs when the refs called it 5% more fair yall got obliterated

Luka got more free throws than SGA 💀 the mavs got 19 free throws compared to the thunders 7 what are you on about 💀 Thunder are one of if not the worst in the league when it comes to free throw differential, they have not once had more free throws than the opposing team despite being top in the league for drives💀 Just yesterday Luka was averaging more free throws than SGA, but because Luka was injured his average went down because he has played less games, overall Luka gets more calls than SGA 💀

Mavs also got 19 free throws compared to thunders 7, Thunder didn’t get a single call in the 2nd half yet he thinks the refs are on OKCs side 💀 Also I don’t think he realizes this, but the mavs can double teams SGA, nothing is stoping them. The reason they don’t is because that’s a stupid idea, the Thunder have the defense to do that and the coaching. The mavs don’t.
