I was with you until you said Zion is a better playmaker than Brandon Ingram.. that’s just false. Zion is a good passer in the way Shaq was, by collapsing the defense and kicking it out to the obvious open man.. Brandon Ingram actually create looks for players, and thread the needle at times. Anybody who watches the pelicans play every game knows this. It’s obvious.

They have B.I. playing 15 mins a game & have him playing like a ROLE PLAYER- He is not a role player that why they switched him with Josh Hart who is good at getting rebounds, defense & clean up thats not Ingram role - Thats why he played better off the bench where he is focal point but its only 15 mins - Nothing wrong WITH Ingram - Pelicans are not worried - he will go back to 29 ppg in the playoffs

This is so true , Bi not used to being a role player but that all team USA is , MJ only average 16 point , Kd is only player to average over 19 points for team USA for his career. Playing for team USA you will not be a superstar you are a role player , most time you really out there to play defense and put up about 8-12 points a game honestly .

It's because KD is one of the greatest players to not need the ball in his hands all the time. Like the greatest role player in history except he's a superstar. I always have KD in my all time starting 5 because he can fit with any lineup pretty much. (Steph, MJ, Lebron, KD, Kareem/shaq)

I've been watching Bi since his laker years....I know he's so unselfish, I can see him not trying to battle with Edwards and Brunson who clearly want the spotlight and be the man...Ingram is trying to make the right plays and be a team player, it's frustrating at times but he's the only matured star there...even past powerhouse usa teams have their stars playing team basketball, this team just doesn't have it Edwards alone is damn taking all the possessions... it's all good tho I know come season he'll prove he's still the best player on that usa roster, trust me

He’s gonna struggle? He’ll be completely fine, the only struggle will be no Murphy. All due respect to Zion, BI still willed the team into the playoffs just last year and averaged 28 a game in the playoffs. Zion or not, he always gets his buckets.

They said the world caught up? Or American players just got worse. Guys don't even know how to properly boxout. European teams don't do fancy dribble, they are slow and unatheltic but they are masters of fundamentals. Nba is just entertainment where zero defense, only pick roll, travels happen.

The FIBA games are a really bad indication of Brandon's game in the NBA - he plays an entirely different role. Why would he need to play this role for the Pels this season? What's changed that would cause him to fall to the bottom of the offensive pecking order?

Let's call it what it is. Brandon Ingram is in his feelings right now because he's not getting as many shot attempts as he expected to on the floor. He's used to the offense running through him from CJ and he's not giving the effort that the younger players are that are happy to be there. It's an ego thing. It's obvious watching the games when he's sluggishly running up and down the floor (especially on defense). Nobody here thinks Josh Hart is better than Ingram, there was a reason he was benched.
