The NEC Motorhome show 2019 and Park-Up

We have no idea why wanted to go and look at new vans.........we just did! The NEC Motorhome and Caravan show is a tremendous and overwhelming show! From chassis to full blown coach size motorhomes, the NEC managed to pack them in.

Thank you David. Yes, the Camelot is a stunning looking van and Autohaus conversions are certainly a class outfit. That’s the exact show i placed my campervan order at and I did exactly as you said i went from one van to the next to the next and back again and again, so overwhelming for sure! But I found my gorgeous camper which is converted by Wellhouse 😁. Had it just over a year now and couldn’t be happier

Haha, you may have even seen us both bimbling around Moira. We were completely overwhelmed with the show, it was a great experience and although we already had Freddie, we still managed to come away from the show with bags full of goodies. Hi guys, just to let you know Amazon sell the dometic compressor fridges from £439. We brought CFX35 which runs at 0.4amps per hour. Our solar didn’t drop hardly any when we left it running during our recent 24hr crossing from Santander to Portsmouth(really wanted to test it without solar getting any charge). Has been well worth the money £599 (probably most expensive thing we have brought but it managed to keep to 5degree when van temp inside showed 31 degrees on average). Gets cold really quick too. Apart from some cosmetics we will send you some pictures of our self build Boxer shortly, we messaged you before about seats. Love your videos because you show inspiring places to stay & visit. Hello again Teresa, we hope that your build is going well, and hopefully you have managed to get the seats sorted. Many thanks for the information regarding the fridge, the consumption is very low and maybe something we invest in. We've managed so far, but to be honest, we've not really been off grid, in the heat for any extensive period. I'm looking forward to hearing about your progress and seeing some pics of your build, sounds like you're 'getting there'. It will be worth it in the end. Hi Robert, the motorhome show is great, full of fantastic vans and accessories, however, you need bloody deep pockets full of cash lol. Yep, for us, we wouldn't want to go any bigger as you're right, we'd never get down any lanes or be able to park etc. Enjoy the show, it's very impressive Robert. All the best, Tony.

I love the way the guy said the bed was 6’3” x 1.45; we really need to make up our minds to whether Britain is Imperial or Metric! Both together is just confusing. Great video!

Thanks for the video, we were there on Wednesday I thought it was very busy, obviously a lot of people with money burning holes in their pockets, I thought that some of the ones around the 40k mark were better that some the more expensive ones, I am still determined to build my own though.

Hi Phil, you've the same thoughts as myself and Claire, very busy with people with deep pockets. Building your own is the way to go my friend. Our van may not be as refined as a £50000 one, however half the fun is in the build and the other half is knowing that you saved £20000-30000! I have a Dometic, CFX 35W. Had it 2 years. Faultless performance. Draws little current. Yes, £700 is a lot, but it’s well worth it.
