IMO The Necks are one of the most exciting bands that have ever existed!

Now that's weird. I was just listening to this album when it autoplayed, thinking it sounded pretty cool. Looked at my notifications about 15 minutes in, and the most recent one was about the most dangerous prison inmates in the world, by The Ultimate Discovery. I started watching it. 1st inmate was this woman from Silverwater prison. Silverwater is a women's prison in Australia. Crazy how I discovered that out like I did. Insane coincidence.

Nicely done. Entertaining and capturing the passion, and at times perplexity, of the author.

Funny how I called these guys "the Swans of jazz" earlier in the comments and they ended up collabing

This reminds me of the suburb of the same name in western Sydney. The beginning could almost be closed factory gates clanging and squeaking .

The Benders. They were performing in Sydney mostly as they are alumni of the Sydney conservatory of music, I stand corrected. As The Benders they also performed in Melbored for a while in the 80s, late. 87 86 I think. So, what am I rambling on about... The Benders were outstanding, the Necks are damn good too. Listen to these cool Americans, Don Cherry, John Zorn, Art Ensemble of Chicago, listen, read! Many more around Lester Bowie etc

Listen to it, and.......time is somehow slowing down. There is nothing else than the music and I. Everything becomes one, one point, sharp and clear. I'm becoming part of the art. I know, who I am.
