So far in my journey as a middle-aged, beginner saxophone student, this song has resonated with me the most. As soon as I heard it I picked up my horn and started accompanying it. These twins are mega talented. My condolences to everyone who've suffered losses that are remembered by this beautiful rendition.

I’ve always loved this song. Thought it was a beautiful tribute to their dad. Now that I lost my dad it brings so much more pain and beauty to my heart. I know their dad and my dad are both up in heaven.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful song. I chose to play this song as part of my Eulogy to my Mum at her funeral today, so we will always be connected to each other now through the one thing we both had in common - our love for music xoxo

i saw them in concert when i was about nine and no matter what ill always remember that night. its the only concert ive ever been to so by default its my favorite (but i know it forever will be). i stood front row and sang along to every song. when they sang this song it was so perfect and emotional. we left with a signed Ricky Nelson t-shirt (and i had a massive head ache). seven years later i still have the shirt, its definitely my favorite....

My husband and I saw Nelson sing this in concert. We bought the CD. My husband died a month ago of a massive heart attack. He had no symptoms. He kissed me good morning, walked into the bathroom and collapsed. I played Just Once More at his funeral and listen to it everyday. I got the kiss but never got to say goodbye.

My mom made me promise 20 years ago to play this song at her funeral. She was president of one of Ricky Nelson’s and loved this song so much. My mom passed 11/3 and I kept my promise. Many tears shed. Beautiful song ❤️

I saw you in concert at Northern Lights Casino in MN in January 2014. My husband had died suddenly on Christmas day 2013 at that very casino. I loved the concert and this song caught me by surprise but I love it and will always remember that concert even though I left crying. This song is so on point.

Took my 10 year old to see them in Pleasanton, California. They both gifted him with their guitar picks. Class acts through and through and reminded me why I fell in love with them when they played on Saturday Night Live so many years ago!

Gunnar & Matthew. I'm 70 y/o old now and need to tell you of how much your Dad's music played a BIG part of my teenage years. I was, on one hand, a consummate romantic and on the other, one hell of a rocker! It's fair to say I appreciated him greatly. Technology is a wonderful thing as it enabled your Dad to leave this great gift of his music for us to enjoy for generations to come. It's also fair to say, nature is just as great. Procreation is a wonderful thing as well, The other gift he left us, was both of you. While you guys are terrific rockers....don't be shy of the ballad genre either. Your harmonies are stunning! This song proves you have a lot to give and olde phartes like me, a lot to receive, hopefully, for many more years to come. Peace, always.

Thanks guys. Judging by the previous comments I guess you know how much this song means to those who suddenly lose a loved one. I remember a friend of mine who was killed in an auto accident while I was away in the Air Force. His young wife was suddenly a widow with 2 young children when our pastor knocked on her door late at night. I lost track of her several years later when my career sent me across the country but I always think of her when I hear this song. I hope she has heard the song. Her name is Pat and I once broke a string tuning a guitar she bought for her young son. I replaced it and tuned the guitar.

I love the Nelson Brothers. I have seen them 4 times here in the Midwest. They are excellent. Their father would be so proud to see them on stage. They stayed after each show and signed autographs and let everyone take photos. They were very kind. I would like to see them on TV more often.

I had the pleasure of meeting Gunnar and Matthew after they performed in a concert here in Oneonts NY. Everything you mentioned about them is so very true. They were, indeed, very personable, signing autographs and posing for photos. The tribute concert for their dad was very beautiful. They didn't rush through the Meet and Greet after the concert. We also talked about their sister Tracey. It would have beeb nice to meet her too. I am almost 66 years old and would love to see them again. They certainly have their dad's talent. I have the cd pictured here, and I am still not sure who is Gunnar and who is Matthew. Wonderful young men with exceptional talent. GOD'S BLESSINGS TO GUNNAR, MATTHEW, TRACEY, AND SAM.

I remember when, as a very young girl, people said I resembled your father's new fiancee, very much in the news. Decades passed, your parents married, you were born and became young men, and a few years after I lost my husband as a young woman this song meant everything to me. Now I've lost my mom, my only and last family member, and your lyrics and music mean more than everything. The cover art of your album is beautiful. Who can describe the mysterious bonds of music.

The Nelsons put on a great concert in Laughlin, where they were playing all week. Such talented, hardworking, personable musicians (who penned their own #1 hit 22 years ago) as they put on a moving tribute to their dad - Rick Nelson. Same age as Rick when he died prematurely in an aircraft crash on his way to a New Year's Eve concert in 1985. I've seen hundreds of concerts in my life and this was among my top 10 concerts. If you get a chance to see them ... grab it, you won't be disappointed.

Totally agree. Bring a box of tissues or someone to loan you a shoulder to cry on. They performed a concert here in upstate NY several years ago. They are the most phenomenal, personal, respectful, down to earth gentlemen I have ever met. The concert was amazing and meeting and talking to them is an unforgettable joy, since I grew up watching the Ozzie and Harriet Show and am now part of the senior citizen generation. Hoping to see another concert soon. The are THE BEST👍👍👍🙂🙂🙂🙂

It's so terribly sad & leaves a empty place in your heart when you loose a close loved one! You move on but the emptiness moves on with you. It's painful to live life with them not there to talk to or share special life experiences with them. We will be with them again, and I truly believe they watch over us from where they are! I walk into my living room and sometimes feel my Dad checking on me! My sister's have all felt the same things! life is so short, live it well and live it like our loved ones that have passed are still with us looking after us, because I feel it's true! My heart goes out to everyone, but Gunnar & Mathew really help you feel their pain thru their beautiful songs, and I wish them loving peace💖

I used to work for Steven McClintock who wrote this with Gunnar and Matt. Steven cane home from a writing trip and played it for me. I cried. We all have people we miss. It made me think of my dad and my grandparents at the time. My son was about 13 when they wrote it . The song became a lot more dear to me when I lost my son to cancer at 22. I play it all the time. Its been 17 years. The day he died i had been up all night pushing his morphine button every 15 minutes because he no longer could. His girlfriend came in to to take over and let me get some sleep. I really couldn't tho so i was washing dishes when she came in completely panicked. He had just slipped away while they were watching TV. I never got to kiss him goodbye. Or tell him once more how much i loved him. So i really get the song in a personal way.
