I remember riding these in LA, great memories of the best bus rides. These were and always will be the best buses I ever rode. Of all the buses ever built, Crown will always be best, but these are a close second. Neoplans AN440 were the best city bus, there only flaw was rust corrosion, but as for reliability and performance? Can't be beat. Thanks for taking the time and making a wonderful video of these awesome buses. They can be taken from the streets, but never taken from our minds.

The City of Albuquerque Transit Department's best buses! First wheelchair bus, first CNG bus, first ''modern'' bus. 20 years on the road, and still going! Long live the 300 Series Neoplan AN440's! Best buses ABQ RIDE hands down!

Great documentary of these buses! Just love the roar of these! I wish Golden Gate Transit or Marin Transit had some of these! What year are these buses Cummins L10G 280 HP and Allison B400R-6, right? Are these buses still around or are they retired and scrapped now?

Thanks for watching! i believe these were 2006 most are destroyed but some are still alive. Will miss hearing these in real life i think these were the last L10G neoplans in revenue svc in the us that i know of

Hey BusTvChan love buses in New Mexico (NM) because I heard this bus before in California when I was 9 yrs old. And from now on it's in NM. This is an awesome documentary video. Love the sound engine because I like to do it. Also why does all the buses in New Mexico have bus wraps? I've never been in rides before. But one day I'll go there

Hey, thanks for checking out the video. The engine is an L10, and is very easy to recognize once you know what it sounds like, especially on the Neoplan An440 as seen in this video. Yes los angeles did have these units, and they were spec exactly the same, same engine, same seat configuration, and same everything else. The Neoplan Buses in NM were all wrapped because, the neoplans had an older paint scheme that didnt match the newer units, so they wrapped all the neoplans on both sides. the newer new flyer de40lfr and de60lfr buses are wrapped mostly on only 1 side, but some have both sides wrapped.

this bus you could buy for like $5000 maybe or $3000 maybe. you hve to look around, most of them are probally scrapped by now, im sure some are still alive.
